Democrats love Planned Parenthood so much they were willing to shut down the entire U.S. government over planned cuts to the organization.
If given a choice, they would rather give taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood than pay the men and women who serve America's military.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid drew a line in the sand Friday morning while speaking from the floor of the United States Senate:
“I’m not going to be part of that. I won’t do it,” he said about efforts to cut Planned Parenthood funding on the part of House Republicans.
Nancy Pelosi claimed the GOP is at war with women, and Louise Slaughter compared Republicans to Nazis.
Democrats like to claim that Planned Parenthood is the greatest thing since the invention of the cotton gin. Listening to Democrats and their willing accomplices in the media, one would think that were it not for Planned Parenthood, women would have absolutely no health care whatsoever.
MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell broke out in tears on national television while discussing the possibility that his beloved Planned Parenthood might be defunded. The Huffington Post reports that after attacking Republican Senator Jon Kyl:
O'Donnell then turned to an email which he said came from a friend of his who used Planned Parenthood. He read the email out from his Blackberry, and as he did so, his hands, and his voice, started shaking with emotion. The friend's email recounted her dire financial straits and history of medical illnesses. Planned Parenthood, she wrote, was the place she went for her birth control and her cancer screenings, and through them, she said, she was able to get multiple mammograms.

And here's a sure-fire way to shut down anyone who claims that PP doesn't perform abortions with our money:
Say the federal government decided to start subsidizing some Christian organization. The usual suspects on the left will naturally howl and scream that the federal government is now funding the proselytizing of Christianity. Retort by saying "oh, the federal money doesn't go towards that part of the operation."

They love it because it’s an easy way to transition into governmental treatment centers for nationalized healthcare.
The republicans were idiots on this budget, and they got played. Instead of picking a battle where THE ENTIRE FRIGGING COUNTRY IS READY TO FIGHT ALONGSIDE THEM (Obamacare), they chose to make their final stand on an issue that, to many swing voters, defines them as religious zealots and has no bearing whatsoever on stopping the relentless onslaught of socialism.

The constitutional RIGHT of women to kill their babies and the RIGHT to have taxpayers pay for it must be preseved at all cost. Anything less is an attack on women.

Simply by attending children learn to be comfortable with taking money from their neighbor for a service their parents want for tuition-free. They will become comfortable with the voting mob collective controlling their thoughts, lives, and now with Death Panels, even how they die. And....They **WILL** learn to think and reason godlessly. They must if they are to cooperate with the classroom indoctrination and complete assignments.
This is even true even in Utah!
The funny and ironic thing about this is that Margaret Sanger's Planned Parenthood was instituted for the improvement of human hereditary traits. The Aryan race was one of their goals.More Here

Bachmann Voted Against $39 Billion Deal

House Speaker John Boehner and President Barack Obama are hailing Friday night’s last-minute budget deal that averted a Michele Bachmann, Government Shutdowngovernment shutdown. But Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann is not a fan of the agreement that will slice $38.5 billion in spending, calling it a “disappointment.”
After the deal was struck Friday night, Bachmann voted against a stopgap meaure that will keep the federal government operating until final details in the budget deal can be hammered out, Politico reports. A final vote on the deal should come by the middle of next week. Bachmann says she also will vote against that.
“The deal that was reached tonight is a disappointment for me and for millions of Americans who expected $100 billion in cuts, who wanted to make sure their tax dollars stopped flowing to the nation’s largest abortion provider, and who wanted us to defund Obamacare,” she said in a statement issued to the media.
So, they will pay for the killing of innocent people in the womb, but they won't pay for killing the bad guys.
At least they're consistent. This has been the SOP of The RAT Party for decades.

At age 68 I had a quad bypass. At age 78 I will be “considered” by a death panel. Scary but true if we don’t get this straightened out.

To call abortion murder is like calling second hand smoke a weapon.
I’m pro-life because of our established inalienable rights but I don’t have the right to press charges against my girlfriend, sister, neighbor or other female for terminating a pregnancy.
I choose not (as is my right) to think of abortion as murder. However, I disagree with legalized late-term or partial birth abortion. If the latter two types of abortion procedures were legally restricted or abolished, then I might start thinking that wherever they occur, there would be crime scenes to be investigated for voluntary manslaughter or negligent homicide...
I try to avoid having extreme views myself but I understand where so-called right wing “extremist” views come from.

You fight your initial battles on ground where the enemy is weakest, use those victories to weaken the enemy further, and only THEN do battle on ground that the enemy will fight hardest for.
