What if I were to offer you $10 for every 54 cents you give me. Even better, to sweeten the deal for you, I would kick in 30 bucks worth of stuff for FREE. Sounds like a fantasy. Too good to be true, right? Well, guess again because that is EXACTLY what I did today many times over.

PING! And anybody else who wants to be placed on The Coupon Whisperer PING list, just let me know on this thread or via FReepMail.
well, if you have too many laptop mice, then send me one.
The example cited is great if you need 6 bottles of Maalox. Who really does....?
Anybody who needs 6 bottles of Maalox... PLEASE don’t tell us about that problem.
You will need the Maalox after eating Red Baron pizzas.
Maybe it was in anticipation of the 14 cent Red Baron pizzas. Preventive medicine.
Doesn't matter. Total cost was only $.54 and there was a ten dollar return.
Throw the Maalox away!
Ever try this site? Paid 7 dollars for a $15 coupon on local pizza that I was going to buy anyway. Catch was I have to wait 24 hours to use it. Still the coupon is good til July.
Back in the days when there were double coupons (the manufacturer and the retail store each paid the coupon value), I bought a box of granola bars with a double coupon that were already on sale and the store ended up owing me money. Which they would not give me. I got the granola bars for free, though.
So trade for stuff you need and The Coupon Whisperer needs an All You Can Eat Stone Crab Claw Dinner...for TWO!
FUn Fact: The Coupon Whisperer once traded a ball electric typewriter for a coast-to-coast airline ticket. And to get that typewriter I traded for it with a tape recorder which I bought at a garage sale for 10 bucks.
The Coupon Whisperer is a member of Groupon and may have some magical tales about it in the future.
Give the Maalox away and you are still nearly $10 ahead.
Seems like a lot of work, and trying to figure out the “system.” Yes, the “return” is good, but you would have to spend a lot of time collecting the coupons, researching prices, and what-not to make nine dollars.
Kind of an annoying way to make a living...
lol
I would like to be.
It’s a great deal - I just don’t want to hear details from anybody who needs 6 bottles of it.
The first time I ever went to a Costco they had a big display of GIANT boxes of Metamucil. They were huge. My reaction was OMG, who would EVER need a box that big.
Figure out the system. Let's see...about 5 minutes reading about the Maalox deal. Time spent collecting the coupons...about an hour. Researching prices? No time. It was all done for me by other coupon blogs. Earnings? Nine dollars? Nope. Try a few hundred on this deal.
To be or not to be. Is that a question or a PING List request. I need to know since no one is PINGed before their time.
Add me please! Thanks!
