Talk at Kapi`Olani, would have been unabashed, the city of Honolulu at the time very racist towards black people.

Lack of evidence is being mentioned here. But that is not the only argument being made by “birthers”.
For instance, the HDOH has indirectly confirmed that Obama’s BC was amended in 2006 - which shows that the Factcheck COLB is a forgery.
That is positive evidence, not a lack of evidence. Obama posted a forgery. Why did he do that?
That is also positive evidence that the BC they have in Hawaii is not legally valid/probative. That is a HUGE piece of positive evidence. The biggest problem for Obama right now is not what he isn’t showing, but what he actually HAS. He HAS a file in Hawaii that makes birth claims that are not considered credible enough for him to have a legally valid BC from there.
That is a big problem. What do you think is wrong with his records, that he doesn’t have a valid BC from Hawaii? Don’t you think that deserves to be known - especially since Hawaii officials would rather libel a whole group of law-abiding citizens rather than admit that they deliberately deceived the entire world into thinking they have a legally-valid BC for Obama? This isn’t just about Obama; it’s about a whole bunch of government critters who were all too happy to lie to the American public.
Does that matter to you at all, or should government officials get away with saying whatever they darn well please, whatever suits their particular agenda?
Or perhaps other screen names.

True, all of the mothers were poor, but that doesn't mean the deliveries were free of drama.
I remember two white girls who were assaulted RIGHT IN THE DELIVERY ROOM, one by her white boyfriend, one by her Puerto Rican boyfriend, for having a black baby. I remember another Puerto Rican girl who had a white baby who was supposed to be black, and her sister was killed a few weeks later, supposedly as revenge.
But the names? What happened to the babies when they grew up? Did one of them become famous?

There’s more wrong with these statements that can be efficiently addressed, but suffice to say that the very reason so many people take the option of resigning is that there is, in fact, a huge difference between it and being forced out. For whatever reason—didn’t want his name dragged through the mud, didn’t want to continue the long national nightmare, etc.—Nixon chose resignation over impeachment and trial for a reason. A very good reason. Don’t rob him of that noble act (he had so few).

Notice, if you will, that the description has changed from the definite “thrown out” to the milder “hounded out.” Consciousness on your part of the weakness of the thrown out argument, I presume.
In my opinion, like it or not, we have a propaganda press and IF this attempt by the Republican House were to propose an investigation of his birth, an unholy rain of fire would rain down on them.
There may be another solution to this problem but we would have to wait until the election of 2012 and just restrain this administration and let the usurper stay in place.
An UPDATED and REINFORCED bill need to be passed where anyone, Republican or Democrat who runs for the office of the Presidency undergo a strict and thorough examination of their background. This bill would require that they supply to Congress their LONG FORM birth certificate and ALL college level studies and transcripts to be examined.
This intense scrutiny should be implemented when they announce their intention to run for office...not after they are nominated by their party.
If ANY candidate refuses to participate they would, UNDER STICT LAW, be declared ineligible to run for the office.
This would also apply to any president who currently is a sitting president and running for reelection of EITHER PARTY.
This bill could be presented by the Republican House as being introduced to quell all the rumors concerning the ‘nasty rumors’ of obama’s illegibility issues.
I’m sure obama would be more than happy to have this monkey off his back AND save him a lot of money in the process.
I would accuse him of fraud, at a minimum.

We aren’t talking about circumstantial evidence. We’re not even talking about evidence. The issue is a lack of evidence. Which can, of course, can be used for surmise, but is not, and never will be, itself evidence.

Are you saying these organizations don't think someone occupying the White House who is not a natural born citizen is not unconstitutional? Or are they just not accepting that Obama is not a natural born citizen? I suspect it's the latter, in which case, fortunately, many of us are capable of critical thinking and examination without their assistance.
Look, Landmark Legal Foundation and Heritage are great institutions but they remain donation-based entities and this issue is too much of a hot potato for them.
I ask again, do you have a problem with the search for the truth?
America cannot afford to have a POTUS who can be blackmailed by whoever can get ahold of his real records.
I would think that would be clear to everyone.
And at this point, the same idea holds for an office-holder who has ANYTHING that could be held over their heads. If there is any information that an elected official fears coming out, that person’s ability to govern with integrity is compromised. If they have anything they are not willing to address publicly they are not fit for office, simply because they are in a position to be bribed.
That’s the only reason I care one bit about the sex lives of candidates, for instance. If it’s something they are willing to address openly, no problem. If it’s something they would take a bribe to cover up, it doesn’t matter how good they would otherwise be; their ability to govern is impaired.
And Obama is WAY, WAY, WAY impaired. As is Hillary. At this point Edwards would be a better candidate than he was before the truth about Rielle came out, because now he wouldn’t be as vulnerable to bribes, unless he’s got other crap he’s hiding.
The best thing a candidate can do is let their past be known from the outset, like Paladino did with his “love child”. It’s disgusting the way the media treated that child, but if he had tried to keep her secret he could not have been a good governor.

Your glittering wit aside, did you read the quote? Does it make any sense, assuming Obama was born in Kenya? How did his mother get there if she was refused entry? By sea? Overland?
Maybe she was sent "away." It wasn't exactly the thing for "nice" girls to be pregnant at 18 to a black man the girl wasn't married to. Maybe she intended to give the baby the baby up for adoption, but became attached to him and changed her mind. Don't forget that this was pre Roe v. Wade and Obama and the left may owe his existence to that fact.

What fraud? No one ever officially required him to demonstrate eligibility. Let’s say he is ineligible, nevertheless it’s not fraud if no one (who mattered) seemed to care.
The difference with Obama's birth issue is this: It is OBAMA who must present valid credentials to PROVE his eligibility. Certainly some are promoting theories and speculation. . however the overwhelming sentiment is not the putting forth of a conspiracy but rather having doubts of Obama's eligibility. Those doubts are not fueled by conspiracy theories but rather by the fact that it is incumbent upon Obama to make it unequivocally clear AND HE HAS NOT DONE SO! Not only has he refused to release the long form. . .he has sealed it at substantial cost. In other words, when someone is acting guilty, it is human nature to become suspicious (know any police officers?)
Your condescending tone toward this discussion is inappropriate given the above situation. The only "evidence" offered was the short form. . .and most people know. . I know because it happened to me. . .that you can take your short form to the DMV to try to renew your licence and you will be sad to find out that you will be returning home to get YOUR REAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE. Given the propensity for this administration to lie, obfuscate and deceive, it is entirely REASONABLE to have serious doubts and demand hard evidence that our president is, indeed, qualified. I, for one, am not convinced. I have doubts and I will not be cowed by the Left or those duped by the Left's mantra, that somehow I should be embarrassed to demand the truth.
He/she claims he/she is bending over backwards to humor birthers, but I think it has more to do with pretzel logic.
By the way, I use he/she since I don't know which it is and don't want to give he/she another straw man to bandy about. ("I'm a he, not a she" or vice versa) Then we'd be dicussing it for another 20 posts.
