Wouldn't you celebrate a harvest festival in the fall? What "fruits" are they "harvesting" that are ready at the end of December? The pork Congress snuck into the last midnight session before they adjourned for the year?

While it is possible that a few hundred deeply, deeply stupid white people celebrate this invented holiday, there are about 33 million African-Americans and only a handful of them bother with it. If as many as 1 million people in America actually observe this nonsense, I would be very surprised.

Kwanzaa was invented by my old professor, Ron Karenga. He uses a bunch of Swahili words - Eastern Africa - (even though most America blacks genetically come from the other side of Africa) and use corn in the ceremony (corn comes from America, not Africa).

I disagree. Hoosiers do have a common spiritual destiny. It's all wrapped up in basketball, the official state religion. (Even though the liberals have been attacking that too)
