"This is weird. Glenn Beck, who became a Mormon a few years back, is now using his program to promote Mormon archaeology. If you click on these links you can view it. He also has a conspiracy theory about how science, government, commerce, and religion, not in the least, the Smithsonian Institute, purposefully altered history. My good friend Kurt Van Gorden sent me the links below, as well as the descriptions of what he is saying in the videos.
In the first video, about half way through, I about fell out of my chair when Beck referenced Adairs History of the American Indians ( imagine! ) as proof of similarity between Native American ceremonies and Israelites. He forgot to mention that it predates the BOM by several decades (It was written arounde 1765!). He then ties the Egyptian pyramid math to the Indian mounds (only FARMS and the Maxwell Institute have ventured in this arena, which instantly identified his sources for me). Then in the second video, he uses the fraudulent Newark Stone and the fraudulent Bat Creek stone Hebrew inscriptions as proof of Hebrew among the Indians."

Thanks Elsie, I loved that....brain and hand do not always work as a team.....LOL
Yes, silly you. You surely can construct a better fallacy than that one! Is your straw getting moldy perhaps? Good strawmen need fresh straw. Try fresh straw, Mormon.
I use them as an ackowledgement that I read the post and don’t care to reply....do they mean something else in freeper language, cause if they do I will use something else....
Sorry but your rambling post makes no sense to me. I am not the one trying to start a flame war....have a great day...but thanks for the kid remark, its been decades since I have been called that...Just jump in without reading the other 600 posts...
ROFLMAO! You think Im Mormon? Either you havent read any of my previous posts or you are totally delusional.
believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved-and your household. Thats it.
No Mormon becoming gods, no Catholic believing in the ascension of Mary or praying to the dead, no member of any church who believes in collective salvation, no member of any church who believes the government is responsible for social justice.
You just dont get it do you Elsie.
No, I think you need fresh straw, Momron straw. Thier straw allows them to construct some of the most life-like strawmen. You seem to want a really realistic one.
>> If it’s the one I think it’s the Christians who will come out of the tribulation, who are crying out. Not todays Christians.<<
Better re-read that. The Christians converted after the Rapture will not live through the tribulation. The 144,000 are 12,000 of each of the 12 tribes of the Israelites.
When an anti-Christian cult forms up here in America, and they put on the guise of Christianity in order to hug their enemy close and to fight them from as close to within as they can get, when they adopt our religious language, our bible, and the form and shape of Christianity, in order to replace it with something twisted and perverse, then they are every bit as dangerous as a hostile, exotic, foreign religion that we have been fighting on the battle field for 1400 years.
Not to anyone who truly has the Spirit of the one true God in their heart.
Huh?
If you saw a young person coming under the sway of a couple of Mormon missionaries, and you could influence that person, would you intervene?
Yeah! Sorry about that. I re-read your post and had that dumb arse feeling too. You were right. Can I use the excuse that my fingers were faster then my brain on that one? Yeah, thought not. :-)
Sure.
Can I use the excuse that my fingers were faster then my brain on that one?

>>If you saw a young person coming under the sway of a couple of Mormon missionaries, and you could influence that person, would you intervene?<<
Jesus never forced Himself on anyone. Intervene? The Spirit leads in situations like that. The free gift of Salvation was an invitation, never an intervention. To propose your view of what is needed for Salvation is one thing. To try to demean or prove someone wrong will never work. Besides, I am not the one who draws a person to God. I am simply the vessel through which God offers the invitation. God Himself will draw unto Him who he chooses.
I dont believe the Mormons are any more of a threat then Catholics are. Both are in error.
You're funny. I say "war on Christianity" and you twist that to be "system of government in the US?" (not very becoming of somebody claiming the Name of Christ)
But let's take your much-expanded leap of what I said & even consider that for a moment.
Do you realize that if you were a temple Mormon in 1926, you promised to fulfill the following Oath of Vengeance in the temple ceremony:
You and each of you do covenant and promise that you will pray and never cease to pray to Almighty God to avenge the blood of the prophets upon this nation, and that you will teach the same to your children and to your children's children unto the third and fourth generation. Source: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/2335353/posts
So, Cynical. How many is four generations removed from someone who took this oath in 1926 or early 1927? (it wasn't removed from the temple ceremony until 1927).
But, again, I emphasized in my post Mormonism's war upon Christianity.
You see, Muslims fight both openly -- both Christianity and our system of government.
Mormonism has also fought Christianity openly, but has also assumed covert means; and, as far, as our system of government was concerned, they were in open rebellion through the pro-polygamy years -- which BTW, went well beyond the Manifesto in 1890 -- and continued well into the 20th century with the blood vengeance-oath...an oath, that if honored, extends 3-4 generations beyond 1927.
