"This is weird. Glenn Beck, who became a Mormon a few years back, is now using his program to promote Mormon archaeology. If you click on these links you can view it. He also has a conspiracy theory about how science, government, commerce, and religion, not in the least, the Smithsonian Institute, purposefully altered history. My good friend Kurt Van Gorden sent me the links below, as well as the descriptions of what he is saying in the videos.
In the first video, about half way through, I about fell out of my chair when Beck referenced Adair’s History of the American Indians ( imagine! ) as proof of similarity between Native American ceremonies and Israelites. He forgot to mention that it predates the BOM by several decades (It was written arounde 1765!). He then ties the Egyptian pyramid math to the Indian mounds (only FARMS and the Maxwell Institute have ventured in this arena, which instantly identified his sources for me). Then in the second video, he uses the fraudulent Newark Stone and the fraudulent Bat Creek stone Hebrew inscriptions as proof of Hebrew among the Indians."

Mormonism is NOT the threat to this country, and I have little patience for those who tend to think it is. The Threat is the Illegal Imposter in the White House who wants nothing more than the decimation of this country, by any means possible.
If it is by financial means, so be it; by judicial means, so be it; by congressional means, so be it.
If one is focused on Mormonism, one cannot see the bigger picture, which is that the White House is NOT in favor of America. The best argument I have is that YOU are not willing to go beyond Glenn Beck and see what the biggest argument is...FREEDOM against SOCIALISM.
Discuss Mormonism if you must but put it in the proper context. Otherwise, shut up.

I guess I am really missing something here....I watch Glenn's show pretty much ever day and have yet to see him preach Mormonism....heck, I honestly don't even know what is is other than superficial knowledge.
I have faith in the Bible and the New Testament so I don't feel threatened by someone with a variance in my views of Christianity, I may not agree with them but I won't dismiss their works because of it.
This thread is nothing but an attack on GB for a simple disagreement on his Mormon belief...of which I have never heard him profess, it is simply designed to sow disruption and foster arguments.

Islam can take your daughters for the use of pedophiles under the guise of “Royalty.” Islam can stone a mother because she was not humble and obedient enough to her husband; Islam can take your 10 year old son and put him on the front lines to fight the Evil Amerkans!

As I have stated, I am not very familiar with Mormonism but I hardly think it is comparable with islam.

Beck is a great guy and has a good heart. He also believes in America and the Constitution.
So, what is the problem?
While Romney and Beck were very angry that Huckabee put a spotlight on that false Mormon belief, they did not deny it. They couldn’t, because it’s in their doctrine and Covenants” Mormon scriptures.
Lots of bad things one can say about Huck, chief among them is "liberal" but not bigot or hater, for telling the truth about mormonism.
What, oh what will the Beckbots do, when (not if) he endorses Romney?
Glenn Beck promotes Mormonism on his shows and on his DVD that he sells, and you can look at post 113 for how he is weaving it into his history lessons.
Beck left Christianity to become a Mormon, and he is becoming the most powerful force for mainstreaming Mormonism to a conservative Christian audience that we have ever seen.
Beck is our biggest TV/Radio preacher we have, and he is teaching from a non Christian perspective of a non Christian religion that poses as Christian.
Christians have an interest in that, and some duties as well.
Kool. When my husband was offered money for our virgin daughter, I knew then that the Quran was a piece of garbage. Tell me again how Mormonism plays into that peace of mind you have.
