What the DUmmies don't realize, or won't admit, is that they are the "Tea Party" of the Democrats--only loonier and more extreme. Whereas we conservatives have to deal with RINOs, they get frustra--they get FURIOUS over what they see as DINOs and Blue Dogs! Who are these "Blue Dogs," you ask? Oh, they're still Big-Government libs, but since these are Democrats who have to get elected in swing districts and states, the Blue Dogs try not to come across as quite the over-the-top, Marxist, anti-traditional-morality, hate-America venom-spewers that the DUmmies are.
This upsets the DUmmies, and so they take to kicking the Blue Dogs, as we see here in this THREAD from DUmmie Stinky The Clown, "I have long held that we are better off with a majority that includes Blue Dogs than . . . . . ." But the tension, of course, is that without the Blue Dogs, the Democrats will be hard pressed to hold onto their majorities in Congress, which are looking precarious enough already.
Tense DUmmies make for FUnnie DUmmies! So let us now watch the Teed-Off Party take their free-floating anger out on the Blue Dogs, in Bolshevik Red, while the commentary of your humble guest correspondent, Charles Henrickson, thankful there's a civil war on the left to match our civil war on the right, is in the [brackets]:
I have long held that we are better off with a majority that includes Blue Dogs than being a minority and not controlling committees.
[In the words of benburch: I smell a "but" coming on . . .]
I am no longer so comfortable in that thinking.
[I knew it!]
We have held a Congressional majority since 2006. We got to set the agenda.
[And for the last two years, with unstoppable majorities and a socialist in the White House! What could be better?]
There was not one official minute of testimony about stolen elections.
There was not one official minute of testimony about oil meetings.
There was not one official minute of testimony about why we went to war in Iraq.
There was not one official minute of testimony about war crimes by the leadership.
There was not one official minute of testimony about many things that actually, really, honestly MATTER.
[There was not one official minute when the DUmmies were actually happy. Gore and Kerry are NOT in the White House, Bush and Cheney are NOT at the Hague--THOSE are the things that really MATTER!]
Maybe we're better biting the bullet now, casting off the Blue Dogs, and working to get real Democrats elected. Or maybe not.
[Oh, go ahead and KICK those Blue Dogs! It'll make you feel better!]
I have this very strong "f*** 'em" streak of real antipathy toward the Blue Dogs who have, in actual fact, f***ed US at every chance.
[The quick blunt f***s jumped all over the lousy Dogs. . . . Thank you, Stinky The Clown. Now let's hear from your fellow dog-kickers . . .]
Obama gives pretty speeches. Isn't that enough?
[I detect a note of sarcasm.]
I'm very sorry, but simply saying "We suck less" isn't going to cut it.
[That giant sucking sound you hear. . . .]
I have said it before and i will say it again. I want Dean back. . . .
[YEEEEEAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!]
Do you know something about our political system that I dont? . . . See, I like to live in the real world and in the real world, there are only 2 political parties in this country, one of them is full of racist, scumbag pieces of sh*t who hold disgusting ideological beliefs. . . .
[OK, that would be the Democrats. . . .]
. . . and the other party is full of weaklings who are too afraid to stand up for whats right.
[The Republicans. Got it.]
I know how it is working out for the wall street boys, and the banksters and AGI , Citicorp boys & the UBS crooks and the CEO's of Comcast..they all got their bonus's....they are doing just fine! They even give out invitations to their weekly cocktail parties..with caterers, florists and all..and if you are really lucky you get to ride around on their Yachts ..parked at their mansion Beach homes..with magnum's of champagne flowing and the ever present martini's, while they laugh at you!
[Sounds like a weekend at John and Tuhrayza Kerry's, aka Thurston Howell III and Lovey.]
At what point woud you advise Mr. Brown to stop attempting the kick when Ms. Van Pelt is holding?
[Don't kick the FOOTBALL, Charlie Brown, kick a BLUE DOG! (Sorry, Snoopy.)]
Meet a Repuke half way and he'll bust your chops and leave you lying in your own blood in the middle of the road.
[And don't you forget it!]
Advocating for Democrats to lose and for Republicans to get the majority . . . why should that be allowed at DU, 39 days before an election?
[It's the DUmmie way!]
the Right. . . . They don't give a sh*t about anything. . . .
That's why they don't want unemployment insurance; cause they have jobs. . . .
That's why they don't give a sh*t about who might need Welfare, cause they have money to get by.
That's why they don't give a sh*t about immigration, cause they ain't immigrants.
That's why they don't care about the uninsured; cause they've got insurance.
[Those D*MN Rethuglicans! THINK of what those b*st*rds are DOING! They have jobs, they earn their own money, they're in this country legally, they're exercising personal responsibility. . . . D*MN them!]
That's why they don't care about college being more affordable; cause their kids are too stupid to go.
[Yet, somehow, those same stupid Rethuglicans manage to hold down jobs and earn money and purchase insurance. . . . I don't get it!]
When you diddle with the famous coffee table of incremental discography, it often happens that a floorboard foots into the representative inclination of fabulous.
[Exactly. Good point.]
Bleat statimus cranialitude fribeaticus homous. Trygerilt politentius dunkilty. Hektert fibernum, freeterp twitty repcilup tro dubbadec temes.
[Klaatu barada nikto.]
Doofus thermidor et un vrai clown qui pue. . . .
[Bottamazda shoodabottahonda.]
IPOP
[MIHOP! LIHOP!]
And they are trying to pick off our progressive committee chairmen one by one, like Charlie Rangel and Maxine Waters, I believe to replace them with corporate DLCers.
[Not Good Time Charlie and Mad Maxine! That's RACIST!]
maybe all blue dogs...ain't blue.
[You're a cryptic one, DUmmie TheIdiot.]
We need Dems who act like Dems. End of f***ing story.
[We need Dems who act like DUmmies. End of f***ing story.]
maybe we just needed to hand it over to the Republicans to speed the onset of the revolution. But we won't have a revolution until the pain becomes much much worse than it is right now. And it won't be just us revolting.
[Oh, believe me, you ARE revolting!]
Our guys don't stand up when they should, but the harm that Bush and Cheney inflicted will not be undone soon, perhaps not ever.
[It will NEVER be undone! NEV-VERR!!]
The issue is more our Congressional leadership. The Art of Arm Twisting is fast going the way of the dodo bird and dial telephones.
[Let's twist again, like we did last century . . .]
It is the same as having spies in your camp..They will block you at every turn, letting you believe that you are the "majority" and that you are in charge.
[Kinda like . . . LOUSY FREEPER TROLLS!!!]
Voters would not appreciate hearings on YOUR list of grievances. When the economy is on the edge of collapse and tens of millions of Americans are out of work? They (majority of Americans, via polling data) thought it was overreach when the Dems worked on health care last year. Seriously dude, you're barking up the wrong tree. There is a time and place for everything. Reversing the down slide of the 'near depression' economy is the only thing that Americans want to hear about right now. All that stuff you listed would just be considered, pointless grandstanding and cause a tsunami of losses for the Dems this fall.
[Congratulations, DUmmie Kahuna, you win today's Kewpie Doll for this Brief Moment of Mental Clarity®!]
we sure act like a bunch of dummies.
[Sorry, DUmmie truebrit71, DUmmie Kahuna beat you to the Kewpie Doll!]
I hate to say it but it's like high school all over again. The Dems are the nerds, and the rethuglicans are the jocks...and the jocks are kicking our ass. . . .
[Hey, DUmmie! . . . Yeah, you. . . . Come over here and carry my books!]
The one thing I really want to see, just once, is a Dem with power (i dunno, maybe the Prez) call these f***ers out and punch them squarely in the mouth. The ONLY way a bully learns is when you finally kick the ever-loving sh*t out of them, and that is the only way (metaphorically of course) that the current knuckle-dragging thugs running the gop will stfu once and for all.
[You do realize, don't you, that those "bullying" Rethuglicans have not had the numbers to stop ANYTHING you Democrats would want to pass? Remember, this is National Kick a BLUE DOG Week, not Rip a Republican.]
Blue Dogs weaken the entire Party. . . . it's becoming increasingly clear that more and more of these 'Dems' are sabotaging our agenda.
[The Blue Dogs ate our homework!]
The Blue Dogs do the work of the pukes while giving the Dems the blame. . . .
[It's a beautiful thing.]
You have alot to learn about liberals. They are never wrong and if they are it is your fault.
Thanks. ;)
Well, it’s over and we’re back at the hotel safe and sound (well, until the next alarm). Believe it or not, we arrived back at the hotel after the wedding to wait for the reception to start, and there was another fire truck exiting onto LaGrange Ave. Sheesh!
The reception was at a country club nearby, very plush, very controlled. The groom’s dad & I tried to get into the reception dining room (just to get to the windows to check out the golf course, and we were told in no uncertain terms that the room was not being opened until 6 pm. Everything was on the 2nd floor, and no one was allowed downstairs to mingle with the members.
But it was a fine wedding. Lots of pics, and good times. And to see our son & Alicia again was the best.
I think "got" is used as past tense, not present tense.
Yeah. Another FReeper pointed that out and I reread it.
The problem is he shouldn't have ended the sentence with that period, and had an 'and' instead:
... since 2006 and we got to set ...No matter. It's still fun to mock the DUmmies for any mistake. :-)
What kind of drinks?
Oh my gosh....coupons killing the Coupon Whisperer, lol.
Seriously, hope your okay and don’t need surgery.....or die!
*facepalm*
Me an my beeeeg mouf.
I’m still trying to decipher it.
That makes for one cryptic code.
When in Rome, do what the Romans do.....see tag line.
It’s ALMOST as long as the gays group!
I like hedgehogs, too - they are rather cute!
Oh, and have you ever had hedgehog flavored potato chips, interesting and yummy too!
“I know how it is working out for the wall street boys, and the banksters and AGI , Citicorp boys & the ...”
Ever see Airplane II and the “boys on the board”?
I’m not certain if you ever sank your teeth into this, a DU thread about Evelyn Paglini.
Coast to Coast calls her the most accurate psychic, although she is actually a warring witch who bends her will against both people and against forces of nature. She’s not upbeat enough about Obama-nomics to suit them:

DUmmies angry at a witch:
[quotes]
did she predict anything positive?
would be nice to balance...
virus...gives me pause
guess it says something about human nature.
Now that you mention it, you’re right
anyone could predict a long list of gloom and have a couple items come true. wonder what this woman’s ratio of correct to incorrect prediction’s is.
Thank you! My thoughts exactly.
I can’t buy off on all that gloom and doom shit, sorry. Too fear-based for me.
glad you posted this
I heard both programs too. Yes she is dramatic, but she has been right on. As for anything positive, well.........she is in the traditional good vs. evil mode, and supposedly because our consciousness is being raised, evil is fighting back harder.
Her descriptions of Cho, both before and after, were chilling—it was kind of “it’s not him, he is possessed, he is pure evil.”
She said that something happened last fall to make him completely snap—that was when he started plotting this, according to her.
In the first prediction, she did mention “shots going off everywhere, people jumping out of windows to get away from it all.”
Another prediction for the summer is lots of fires, many by arson—not just in California.
heard part of one of the interviews and was absolutely irked.
posted this about it earlier in the month. . .
“In the wee hours this morning I was driving home and listening to Coast to Coast which I’m rarely up to hear. There was a lady being interviewed talking about how “b-b-b-bad” the next five years would be. My utterly livid reaction to her kept me awake at least. In her defense she did have some okay info but. . .really, that kind of reinforcement of devastating cataclysms truly can not help.”
Then I followed it with the recommedation of visualizing the earth in violet-purple light and figuring 8 to mollify the transitions that I’ve posted incessantly for a year and a half.
This sort of fatalism she was espousing only reinforces the potential for suffering IMHO.
We can make it far better I swear.
I’m with you [reg. above post]
That’s my reaction to ‘doom prophets’ too. Really irks me and I think they direct people into a seriously [bleep]ed up reality tunnel.
Look, on a far deeper level, I feel that we’ve all ready trashed one planet in this solar system. I firmly believe that the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter was once a planet. Some astrophysicists agree. I saw it’s destruction in a meditation long ago.
From what I could perceive, the destruction was based on a profound imbalance between the divine feminine and the divine masculine. Whether it’s truth or legend it’s been very well told in the mythologies related to the marriage of Zeus (Jupiter) & Hera (Juno) and also somewhat reflected in various Atlantean tales.
I’m deeply disheartened by many things that reflect similar imbalances that persist to this day. I’ve many younger friends who I often joke are my surrogate adopted baby sisters. They are beautiful, smart, talented, and funny and repeatedly get seduced by disingenuous and unavailable men who are more than likely, just plain scared. That observation underscores persistent imbalances and that there something weird goings on between the genders.
I’m concerned about BOTH the birds and the bees.
I’m appalled that in these times we’ve legalized sadism (with the MCA) with a petulant faux unconscious unenlightened gunslinger in charge who knows no better than to perpetually cast his shadow wherever he can. I’m bothered, by the level of discourse in this land once known as the “land of the lively discussion.”
The founder of my dinky state is known for religious tolerance and he called for “a lively experiment.” I feel that now more than ever, that is required. But not just in action but in consciousness as well.
My guidance has told me that if we can get a million people to pray and visualize on a regular basis, we will experience a far more graceful transition to a more humane and peaceful reality.
Again when I step back, I can see this is a g-d awful purge in this still new millennium. I can see that we’re almost through it. But I’m daunted by the colossal challenge of trying to encourage folks to participate fully with their hearts and their minds.
Though it makes no linear sense, and against all odds. . .WE can do this.
Thanks for your response. I’ve always been very fond of your contributions. From what you’ve stated about your planetary placements, I think our birth dates are fairly close and we are contemporaries. If so, it’s a peculiar epi-generation. I always joke since we are neither boomers nor Gen Xers, we’ve got one foot on the banana peel and the other on the platform. Thus the need for “figuring 8.”
Perhaps we could talk at some point.
Thanks for the affirmation and whether you know it or not, you just helped me through a writer’ block so an enormous THANKS to you.
29. I’m with you too
Gotsta be real careful with this type of stuff. Granted 9/11 eclipse coming with Uranus while Mars is opposite Pluto and Pluto entering Capricorn in 2008, but we have to send out a overall arcing rainbow/umbrella of good will, safety, and good intention to counteract all this stuff.
14. Yes my strong sense is that this is all learning and karmic.
Many lessons are being learned the hard way.
And those who were most loyal to BushCo seem
to be learning the hardest lessons of all.
And yet there are those who are still loyal and doing evil work.
So it is not over yet.
Guess the lesson time is not quite over yet.
18. listened to 3/31 show
I listened to it and what she said that could be construed as predicting the VT shootings was that there would be children shooting children. There might be more. Another thing is that she emphasized the horror and that people would have a hard time with enormity of the crime.
She said there would be adults shooting children, too. For Streamlink subscribers, the show is divided into four parts. This is found on the second mp3.
She dwelled a lot on evil.
Toward the end of the show, I think on the third segment, she broke in with an admonition about the pet food. She said it wasn’t over by a long shot. She told people to be very careful with pet food they buy because more was to come.
I wish I could have written down exact quotes but I was driving when I was listening. If I can get direct quotes, I’ll be back.
This time she was on because of all the fire predictions. Here are some of her other ones—
—riots in the streets in some cities because of an incident, but she doesn’t know what the incident will be. She feels that this has a chance at being stopped (not happening) but she is not sure how at this point.
—with regard to the fires—more, more and more, lasting well into the fall, and a determined group of people with a goal in mind starting many of them (as opposed to just being crazy).
—at least two large hurricanes, with at least some possibility of veering off at the last minute—Florida through the Gulf Coast and plenty of terrible weather in the Plains states, particularly (wind, rain).
—volcanoes and earthquakes more numerous and stronger between now and 2012.
—collapse of the stock market in the fall of this year, and many people losing their jobs—anyone with a self directed IRA take note.
I do think she is rather dramatic, but then Katrina (which she also predicted) was dramatic. She doesn’t even call herself psychic—she calls herself a witch. She calls on the elements of fire, water, etc. in rituals that she uses. When she calls on them she gets brief visions. She claims that she wouldn’t even share these but for some reason has a compulsion to do so—something is making her share these visions. She says at least that it is not to try to scare people, but to warn them. She thinks she is sharing these visions because someone listening may take some action that they otherwise would not have taken. As an example some people might be more aware of others and it might help lead to the arrest of this group that will be starting the fires. That may or may not be the case, but she feels that sharing these visions and her warnings will be helpful in some way. You kind of get the feeling listening to her that she is actually holding back.
Hey, we know what we’re doing. We know we’re living in environmentally unsustainable ways. We know we have to stop driving cars and go to public transportation. We know that we’ve created a country that glorifies violence and that needs to change if we’re to experience fewer violent incidents. And so on...
[unquote]
In 20 minutes, I am walking to the store, and walking home. This makes me a superior human being....
So, she’s supposedly accurate in her predictions and they don’t like that she’s predicting gloom and doom.
Well, they have no one to thank but themselves.
As a Christian, I recognize that the forces of evil are real and that people who deal in witchcraft are dealing with real power.
While I don’t want to give this lady credit or too much attention to the evil side, if Satan is revealing his game plan, it is worth being aware of.
Observing with cautious observation.
Flame away.....
Do you hold the DUmmy Funnies ping list? Put me on please, if so.
INDEED.
THX.
PJ-Comix is in charge of the DUmmie FUnnies Ping List.
PJ, please add metmom to the list of pingees!
