"This is probably one of the few times we're going to disagree here." -- Sean Hannity to Karl Rove regarding Christine O'Donnell.
I'll say. Even after Fox News called the Delaware GOP senatorial primary for Christine O'Donnell tonight, Karl Rove continued to rip the winner, questioning everything from O'Donnell's "rectitude" to her "character." Concluded the pessimistic Rove: "this is not a race we're going to be able to win."
Sean defended O'Donnell staunchly, but was met with a litany of Roveian criticism of Christine, including these comments:

“If you lived in Delaware, who would *YOU* vote for this upcoming November?”
This is a grand Rovian jedi mind trick!
In any case no stronger benefit could O’Donnell gain in Delaware than to be politically cast as being at odds with the legacy of Dubya.
Hey, Rove supported DeDe in the 20th, because he said we should all be supporting the Republican nominee, no matter how bad they are.
So he d*mn well better support the Republican nominee in Delaware. Not that he has a chance to ever get my vote, but just because he’s got to stop looking like such an idiot.
It’s politics. Rove thinks (and rightly so) that a conservative has a lesser chance of winning Delaware than a moderate. A weak republican is better than strong democrat. Who cares if we run an ardent conservative if we know right out of the gate they’re a dud?
Also questions about past are completely neutral and should be asked even of our own party. It’s actually a good thing not to hold onto to party lines so tight that questions aren’t asked and answers aren’t expected.
Rove seems to be just another GOP power fellow (I use fellow very narrowly). I am really getting tired of this GOP group that hungers power trying to derail this Tea Party Revolution!
I say let them become the first causalities of this war...right along side of the RHINOs...
Dana, Rove, Beckel, Juan, Geraldo, Colmes and the commie perfesser Mark Lamont Hill....all have been grating on my nerves for a long time now. I've discovered that when they're blathering away on the screen I can get a few things done around the house.
When McCain is on Hannity, I boycott the whole show.
Rove was a disgrace tonight....and boring as hell as usual.

Amen, and spot-on. Tonight's victory for O'Donnell was another warning to the GOP -- give us true conservative candidates, or we'll send you packing. Castle would have been no better than a Dem in the Senate, so we're no worse off, IMHO, if O'Donnell loses. The message has been sent, loud and clear.
Rove see’s the GOP he and Bush molded slipping away.
Brother are you ever right! I have had an eye-opening awakening to the Grand Old Party! They are just another bunch of semi-Democrats that want the power to control...
That is really a bad thing since that leave most of us with nobody to vote for. Until the Tea Party folks take charge, we are left with just another group wanting power to control us...
> “do not give money to the RNC or the NRSC” <
When the NRSC sends me requests for money, I send the pay coupon back with a big red zero on it in their pre-stamped envelope in hopes they’ll get the message.
this is not a race we're going to be able to win
Yeah Rove, we need more of this to help us win in Washington /s
The message has been sent, loud and clear.
RINO’s everywhere are shaking in their boots.
We may win Delaware, We may not.
But the SURE LOSER’s in future elections are RINO’s. Period.
I’ve never understood why so many people thought Rove was such a ‘genius’: His guy lost the popular vote in 2000, and he might’ve lost in 2004 had it not been for external factors (the Swift Boat Vets, the Dan Rather scandal, and some dopey things that Kerry said on the campaign trail).
And by his own admittance in his book, he bobbled the response to the criticism over the Iraq war- which was a big factor of course in the Dems regaining power.
He always reminded me of Jim Cramer on Mad Money- a guy who can make a dazzling first-impression by spitting out all these statistics and numbers, but that’s about it.
I just personally feel that our overriding goal has to be to replace this Congress. Politics shouldn’t interfere nor personal gain, they should work together now because we may not get another shot.
She will win. The people will have a choice between a Democrat and an American.
Why is it OK to ask where O’Donnell got college paid for,and we still don’t know where Obama got his money for college and law school—isn’t it a terrorist Muslim that opened those doors for him? And Rove is going to pin this on one of our own without forcing the issue on Obama?
Hard to pick a dog in this fight. The few clips I’ve heard of O’Donnell make her seem reasonable. That doesn’t mean that what Rove is saying has to be wrong though, and he has every right to his opinion. Turning 180 degrees to trumpet the official party line is arguably what empowers RINOs in the first place. To those who think that this is an attack on Palin, what of it? Why did she endorse McCain? Rove or Palin or both may see their stock fall after this election depending on the results.
