Quote:
Palin also showed that her support can help an establishment candidate, and not just a Tea Party-styled insurgent.
Palin backed her 2008 ticketmate, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), against former Rep. J.D. Hayworth. McCain won after moving to the right, particularly in his position on immigration. That was enough to defeat Hayworth, a former congressman who had tried to run to the right of the longtime senator.
McCain's former running mate endorsed him earlier this year and campaigned in Arizona in March. The endorsement from the Tea Party star undercut Hayworth's arguments that McCain was a Washington insider.

McCain is a POS and a very good friend to The Imam.
If these “conservatives” and Tea Party leaders are our saviors then Go help us.

again your argument is???? She endorsed McCain before Hayworth was running, you cannot erase history. But, continue on your PDS

...a former congressman who had tried to run to the right of the longtime senator. J.D. didn't "try" to run to the right of anyone. J.D. already was to the right of McCain. He's a conservative. Arizonans just made a mistake.

Let’s see......Palin made Numerous appearances with McCain? oh you mean one rally and one fundraiser? that’s numerous?
Yes, she supported her running mate, I wish the J.D had won but he didn’t and McCain’s 21 million probably did it....what’s done is done....here’s hoping Palin makes him Secretary of Defense

Good grief, folks, she helped the man who brought her into the spotlight. I don’t hold it against her at all. (and no, I am not a Mccain fan)

We all make mistakes and Palin made a big one in this case. McCain’s victory was a bummer. But most of her endorsements were good endorsements. I’ll let this go.

JD lost by 30 points.
This was the year of the Tea Party and anti-incumbency.
If JD couldn't win in this environment, then how is it Palin's fault?

"Palin traveled to Arizona and made numerous campaign appearances with McCain,"
If an article has but one lie contained therein, then the whol article becomes a lie.

That Palin chose to conveniently back McCain over conservative former U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth is a truth that should not soon be forgotten.Palin supported him as political payback. She owed McCain big time and proved that she would reliably repay political favors.

Boo-freaking-Hoo troll boy.
Cry me a river of third party tears.
Like she said, she told the whole county she wanted him to be POTUS, so of course she would be for him for the US Senate. She went on to add that “he has seen the light” on some of the important issues.
My God, you need a brain in place of the hatred you hold for her.
You’re much too childish for grown-up politics.

If Governor Palin had backstabbed Senator McCain after he selected her to be his running mate, you'd be using that as a cudgel to beat her up with. Anotherwords, she can't win for trying with the Palinoia Posse. Most of you are either supporters of other candidates (Duncan Hunter, Mitt Romney, Jim DeMint, Ron Paul, etc.) or have issues with women in powerful positions, or both. Ilook forward to your heads exploding the day she is sworn in as our 45th president.

The Palinistas refuse to admit that they are just like the Obamatrons they despise.
Saint Sarah could have endorsed anyone, and they would have rationalized it.
