I've used commercial cat repellent, cayenne pepper, and now just put out an electronic device that's supposed to detect motion and emit an ultrasonic sound to repel them.
I'm furious, I spend 2 wasted hours every Saturday to just clean up the cat scat in my front yard.
Any suggestions out in Freeperland for chasing away the cats without hurting them that I haven't already thought of.
1000fps pointed pellet in the ear does not hurt them. They go down like they are suddenly sleepy. Never had one flop around.
That may be next. Putting Orange Zest around.
I hate incessantly barking dogs.
Yep, I would go with that trap, we have one.
Also, I’ve been told planting mint works well but mint can be a big pain in the butt itself...spreads like crazy.
I hate the cats because they walk all over my car and we can’t keep the convertible outside as the cats will claw it up and shame on us if they spray.
Also, the cats aggravate my dogs, they will walk the fence and tease.
Ya think SandRat could actually be one of Obama’s many relatives over in Kenya?
I’ll add those to my list of things to try.
Our free roaming cats are bobcats and cougars ... but that’s another story ....
Neato, would work on cats, but my dog would enjoy it too much.
In Sarah Palin’s words, “Reload.”
LOL!
He keeps alot of cats, some in a big cage in his back yard and when you go outside in your own back yard it smells like a L-O-N-G overdue litter Box that needs changed.
I love cats, I have four. Get your own cat, a male with attitude.
When my cats start screaming (screaming is the only word for it) I know the big orange male around the corner is coming around. Then I let the dogs out into the yard.
Haven’t seen him lately.
Adopted two feral cats a year ago, they own this place, don't want to go out, darn cats.
I would but I live in the city.
Tell Animal Control to do their job...whenever they aren’t on break, vacation, medical leave, personal days or strike, of course...
Are they feral or do they appear to belong to someone?
Call a cat rescue group in your area to come out and trap them, get them fixed at least so they won’t repopulate. If they’re feral, they will re-release them. Otherwise, they’ll try to find a good home. Tell them you HATE CATS and would prefer if they aren’t returned to your area.
I’ll put that on my list.
Live trap them and release them here in Westmoreland County. We are infested with rabbits! I’d rather have cat crap and rabbit entrails in my garden than chewed-down plants.
BB gun, not too powerful
