DOH indirectly confirms: Factcheck COLB date filed and certificate number impossible

I've updated my blog to include the e-mail from Janice Okubo confirming that they assign birth certificate numbers in the state registrar's office and the day they do that is the "Date filed by state registrar".

The pertinent portion from Okubo's e-mail:

In regards to the terms “date accepted” and “date filed” on a Hawaii birth certificate, the department has no records that define these terms. Historically, the terms “Date accepted by the State Registrar” and “Date filed by the State Registrar” referred to the date a record was received in a Department of Health office (on the island of O’ahu or on the neighbor islands of Kaua’i, Hawai’i, Maui, Moloka’i, or Lana’i), and the date a file number was placed on a record (only done in the main office located on the island of O’ahu) respectively.

MY SUMMARY: As you can see, Okubo said that the “Date filed by the State Registrar” is the date a file number was placed on a record (only done in the main office).

There are no pre-numbered certificates. A certificate given a certificate number on Aug 8th (Obama’s Factcheck COLB) would not be given a later number than a certificate given a number on Aug 11th (the Nordyke certificates).

There is no way that both the date filed and the certificate number can be correct on the Factcheck COLB. The COLB is thus proven to be a forgery.

Why do you think that is?

If Obama didn’t write it, then his good pal Neil Abercrombie was passing off a forgery for charity fraud purposes. I would think Obama would really, really want to keep his good buddy from being accused of charity fraud - which Obama could easily do simply by admitting that he signed the letter.

Come off it. Okubo said the “date filed” field on the COLB’s is the date they give the certificate a number at the state registrar’s office.

That being the case, the certificate number and date filed for the Factcheck COLB are incompatible. Another sign of forgery.

I’m surprised you say “we”. In your original post you said the DOH had told YOU that the system has changed at least 4 times in the last 30 years.

And in all the times that I reminded you that I wanted to see your communications with the DOH you never said that it wasn’t YOU who communicated with them.

But then, you also said you were flying for a couple days and had just gotten back to your computer one Monday, when in reality you were posting on Saturday and Sunday.

And you gave the details of your security clearance process which was then ripped by several military guys who DO know the protocols.

Now we know your friend said he spent 2 1/2 hours at the DOH office getting information on a day when the office was closed.

Your credibility matches that of Obama’s - for the same reasons.

You mean other than because it already has his signature and the White House seal?

The very fact that you demand yet another level of confirmation would certainly be among the very good reasons reasons he has not. You would simply then demand a video confirming that he confirmed it. And once you got that, you'd demand a DNA test of the paper to see if he had ever actually touched it.

This is why the law sets the standards for "legal proof" ahead of time. So we know when the "proof" is good enough that we can then ignore unreasonable demands for more.

Reasonable people would say that Obama's signature and the White House Stationary was good enough evidence that a nice letter to a hospital on its centennial is authentic.

I'm pretty confident that neither Obama nor Abercrombie are too concerned about Birther accusations of "forgery for charity fraud."

the only response I recall seeing from the governor was to confirm that a COLB had been provided to Obama in 2008. Since the one posted online has 2007 bleeding through from the back, I took this as odd.

Later, when the photos showed up on FactCheck. There appears to be photos from two different copies, 2007 and 2008. There are clearly folds and creases in the photos that do not appear in original scanned copy.

I assumed perhaps Obama got one late in 2008 after all the questioning of the one posted online which I believe was probably manufactured by someone at the Kos blog site where it first appeared...then picked up and used by Obama’s campaign. If so, they don’t match exactly and would be proof of the first one not being legit. They will not even allow a reporter to get a copy of the COLB that’s posted online. Why?

Their own laws say that you may request VERIFICATION of their records. If the Obama campaign has placed this online and insisted it is a true and correct copy, then why isn’t Hawaii required to give out an exact copy (not his original records) to anyone who requests verification?

Why would a presidential candidate post his birth certificate on a blog very few people even knew of, before placing it on his own site?

The numbering sequence is also a big red flag.

Start back and post run and read thru this thread and make a list of all the snide, mean comments. Do them in two columns. One for the Birthers. One for the non-birthers.

See who calls names the most, contacts the admins most,gets the most torqued out, gets up on their high horses the most, puts on the biggest martyr routines, etc.
