Hey, you guys remember “Hope and Change”?

It worked for him. “Fire them All” is my response. I don’t care if you don’t LIKE it, it will work. At least the POINT of it will work.

You know, so what when election time comes around, you vote back in the real, good and honest (ok, real and good) men and women.

The POINT here is to start the protest and mean it. When the time comes put in good people, but certainly don’t stop until we’ve removed the bad ones.

In truth, it is a good thing to have both sides of a discussion, various points of view. We might disagree with the Liberals and they with the Conservatives, but the discourse between them can enlighten multitudes more.

Thos of you who have NOT yet been enlightened after this massive health crap... er.. “care” bill was passed, then I strongly suggest you retire back to your couch potato status and change the channel to some other reality show.

Folks, THIS IS THE REALITY SHOW. This is real life. I’m tired of people bitching and moaning and then when someone shows up on the scene to get something going people throw rocks at them.

I’m on my way to cruise on my boat in a couple of years. I’d like to leave this country the way I found it when I got here more than a half century ago. In the hands of able men and women who won’t take candy out of the mouths of children that haven’t yet been born.

The fact is, doing NOTHING at all.... ignoring the problem is the WORST thing you could do. Maybe “Firing them all” isn’t the right thing to do - in your opinion. In my opinion however, I don’t see a good one out there that won’t cave in to some extra nickels in their pocket when the opportunity arises.

Get a grip. I'm sick of this nonsense. There are some people in Congress who've been standing up for our country and for us, and half of FR is ready to kick them to the curb because "fire them all" is a snappy slogan...

I agree, maybe we should save all 4-5 of them that at least showed a some conservative tendencies... keeping in mind that the point is to punish those who have violated their oaths... which ALL of them have done at one time or another if the move suited them or their careers.

One that I will always remember is Sen. Coburn, mr. conservative incarnate, the conservatives conservative stand up on the floor of the Senate speaking so eloquently about the complete unconstitutionality of the TARP bail-out, how wrong it was for congress to be doing this, how senators should stand firm and follow the Constitution... Then in the next sentence said he will would vote for it, and he did!

So yeah, the "fire them all" works for me.

Remember the sarcasm from so many Free Republic attendees about conspiracies, the tin foil hat business? Hmmmm:

John McCain wasn't an obvious setup for Barack Obama, a black (only half so) President?

George W. Bush wasn't party to allowing Mexican illegals, who pay no taxes, no military obligation, no community commitment, to invade the United States?

The United States couldn't be totally energy independent from the rest of the World by using it's own internal nuclear, fossil, geothermal, renewable, resources?

Third or even fourth party candidates (including Ralph Nader, like him or not) are barred from national debate in national elections?

Bill Clinton was left off the hook, after getting blow jobs from a subordinate in the national office, by Republicans?

Sarah Palin, one of the few courageous enough to go rogue, isn't blasted from all quarters, including Republicans?

Conservative candidates, like Rubio, are not shut out of national funding?

The Secretary of State has not lain down the law to the nation of Mexico for its invasion?

The Republicrat Party is a consciously planned authoritarian mandate over the citizens who pay its very salaries. And you can start with the CFR. The majority of the American voters have become the stupidest most feckless society that has ever lived on that well defined national soil (witness Minnesota and Al Franken) to allow this to happen. Shades of the Communist and Nazi Parties.

Free Enterprise could provide every possible service at half the cost (in tme, money, and human dignity) of authoritarian leftist government. All it takes is a sense of moral responsibility.

A profound historical tragedy - the Bicameral Wave.

Next time there’s a bank robbery; be sure to arrest everyone in the building — robbers, staff and customers alike. Be sure to include the night watchmen and janitors. Just for good measure, lock up any cops or emergency workers, who were foolish enough to show up at the site of the crime.

Thank you, that’s the sort of case I’m making.

I don’t remember each and every detail for each and every state (and as someone said, yeah, my Congressman works for me, and he sucks and I need to deal with my state.... BUT...) every one of them have either caved or walked away or AROUND something important to you. To let it go as “Ok, well, he was just doing his job” is fine.

If that’s the CASE then release the Navy SEALS immediately.

Investigate the cast of Fort Hood.

Fire every single person who voted in both houses of Congress for that abomination they are calling “Health Care Reform” (Yeah, fine, which 3 or 4 voted against it again?)

Why are we letting these people sit in our names when they haven’t even BEGUN an investigation in the Major at Ft. Hood - and yet we KNOW people were concerned about him for YEARS. The Army didn’t just screw up, it got innocent people killed. Betcha MONEY the Commanders that let this all go were Obama supporters....

Jeez. Not one House Republican voted for Obama’s economic stimulus plan and only 1 voted for Pelosi’s Health Care Plan.

Oh look, now we're getting less ambitious (but more sensible).

(Yeah, fine, which 3 or 4 voted against it again?)

215 in the House and 39 in the Senate. Maybe you're just ignorant, is that it?

And you’re getting more ignorant each time you post.

Those were examples of the original article I wrote.

Just examples. There’s a lot more than what I posted originally.

I’m surprised that trolls like you live.

Which is because the authorities don't know at that point who the guilty parties are...a difficulty you seem to share. But at least it's one the authorities make an effort to overcome.

Hey champ, I'm not the one who either A) can't be bothered to pay attention to final vote numbers or B) can't tell the difference between 3-4 and 250.

Maybe there's one or two in the House. Absolutely none in the Senate. They all gave unanimous consent to dispense with readings of the health care monstrosity.

Fire them ALL, huh? Please tell us how we first go about firing the 42 members of the CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS before we worry about firing our all of our own?

You see, unlike the Republicans, the democrats have a guaranteed 42 seats every election and in 2010, the census will permit the democrats to draw new districts. Imagine the fun they will wrought!

I'm completely in favor of booting entrenched fossils who refuse to retire on their own, but that has to be done during primary races.

Agreed - Congress is the most corrupt group of people in the world (apologies to the Mafia). However, even if you fire all of them, eventually they will be replaced by people who are just as corrupt. So we, the people, need common-sense laws that will protest us from government. These are described at http://pushbackuntil.com/Mandates.htm.

What a stupid post. 3 of our 5 congressmen here in San Diego are great Conservative Republicans, Marine Col. Duncan Hunter, Darrell Issa and Brian Bilbray. There are many other great Conservative Republicans. I want these people serving with their seniority and experience. We are at war and this is no time for beginners. What you are telling voters to do, if you have a broken foot, cut off both legs. Well, if you think it is a "stupid post" then don't read it. I am not telling people to cut off both feet, or their noses to spite their faces. I'm telling them to have the fortitude to let Congress know they work for us. Great you have good people... Including Duncan Hunter. Nice for you. Do you know there's a push out there to have Lieberman removed? By the Liberals? Haha. Me? A Beginner? I'm not a beginner. I've been at this for over 50 years (ok, well, I've been ALIVE for over 50 years)... my bio is out there. Read it some time. I've been away from politics for a short time (the last few months) planning and traveling. But, I'm neither a beginner, nor am I stupid. You should really rethink your statements before you engage your mouth (or typing fingers). I don't think ONE PERSON who has complained ACTUALLY read the two posts I made. They saw "Fire them all" and they stop there. Wake up. The world is leaving you behind.

Very GOOD! You're starting to get the point.

Now tell me, Authority... who are the ones who are really be honest with you? Can you tell me, truthfully and factually if they are?

Numbers are numbers, who voted how is a matter of record. What is NOT a matter of record are the deals in the background.

How many of you think that it is a good idea to make deals to get things done?

Mary Landrieu took 100 million to vote for the bill. That's a BRIBE. How many of them tried and failed? That's not part of the public record is it?

Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines a bribe as “money or favor given or promised in order to influence the judgment or conduct of a person of trust.”

Wake up people.

You say that as if it is a good thing to keep corrupt people in office “until we find something better”.

That’s precisely where everyone is wrong.

If you remove them from office (and obviously you must vote them out by voting someone IN) then you take the CHANCE of voting in someone who is corrupt. You also take the chance of putting someone NEW and DIFFERENT in office with a mandate that “We’re not going to take any more Crap off our Rep., get it sonny? No more lack of common sense or you’re out TOO”.

No one said NOT to work in every future election to remove them.

Some of the people here actually thing that “Fire them All” is a real goal.

The REAL GOAL, lemme spell it out for you people, is to send a message to Congress.

Sure we won’t remove those we think “are good”. But those who are not being helpful... well, those can be removed, someone can run against them, perhaps ONE OF YOU in YOUR OWN DISTRICT!

Maybe me in mine. Who knows?

Might not win, but it sends a message.

There are truly some daft people still hanging out on this site after all these years.

Oh, I FORGOT I left because the management got so LIBERAL... and let the liberals troll.
