Numbers are numbers, who voted how is a matter of record.

Something you only appear to have become aware of in the course of this thread. Maybe this knowledge will prevent you from destroying your credibility so badly the next time you go on a rant.

I hope you feel better, at any rate. Have a good rest-of-the-day.

Repeal the 17th....

http://repealthe17thamendment.blogspot.com/

Restore original congressional apportionment from current 1:500000 to 1:30000.

This WILL limit consensus to the most important issues potentially affecting the state of the union...and not whether or not to treat granny’s hemmarroids...or “allow nature to take its course”

Well, if you think it is a "stupid post" then don't read it.

If you don't want anybody to take issue with your post, don't post it. Otherwise, leave it on your blog, which appears to be safely comment-free.

Who said anything about final vote numbers, “Champ”?

(Yeah, fine, which 3 or 4 voted against it again?)

Sorry, my mistake, obviously you weren't talking about the vote when you talked about voting.

I know what they were.

Your previous statements indicate otherwise.

How funny. So far no one has actually “taken issue” except a couple who really love their particular Congress people.

Those who’ve said “Idiot” and “you’re stupid” aren’t taking issue.

You, well, you picked out a couple of things and completely got lost because there are many more things to remove them ALL from Congress for doing (or not doing) than the few I pointed out.

You’re a fine example of a Leftist who likes to Obfuscate. Perhaps you’re not a Liberal, but you’re acting like one... and this just in.... from another post:

“The majority of voters (67%) continue to believe the nation is heading down the wrong track, the highest level found in 2009. However, in the weeks just prior to Barack Obama’s election, more than 80% of voters felt that way.”

Really? Wow. Let’s leave the status quo, shall we?

Go ahead. In two years, I won’t give a crap and you all can keep what you asked for.

Look here, Mister “I talk in the third person Rick.(dot)Donaldson” do not try to lecture me or call me daft. I get it, and I am not the enemy. You’ve posted your rant, and you got some replies, many of which you didn’t like. Tough.

My congressman is an entrenched member of the black caucus, so my “message” is money: donations to conservative candidates in other districts and states.

Have a nice day and a Happy New Year.

Great letter. It might be more convincing to the masses if the guilty parties are listed, and the few good congress people are excluded. There are a few good ones, such as DeMint in the Senate and Michele Bachmann in the House.

Well, we obviously have to vote in someone “better,” right? But that is not all we have to do - and that is what http://pushbackuntil.com/Mandates.htm describes. We can no longer trust our country to the whims of ideologues, utopians, socialists, and the like. As any decent, healthy company does, we need policies (”laws”) the ensure our Republic survives. I do not believe the founding fathers ever could have conceived that our “leaders” would destroy this country. We, the people, must stop them from doing this, and the only way we can do that for the long term is to pass these mandates. Maybe you have better ones, do not know. But at least these are a start.

“I went slow and deconstructed the stuff she was learning from the union where she worked.”

People are receptive to our ideas. Getting them to listen is the trick. It also takes knowing what you believe and paying attention.

Its easy to rant about throwing the bums out...not a dime’s worth of difference...blah, blah, blah. That takes no skill or intelligence - a VERY LAZY way of thinking, in my opinion. Convincing others is hard, but that is how you build a political movement.
