Agreed - Congress is the most corrupt group of people in the world (apologies to the Mafia). However, even if you fire all of them, eventually they will be replaced by people who are just as corrupt. You say that as if it is a good thing to keep corrupt people in office “until we find something better”.
That’s precisely where everyone is wrong.
If you remove them from office (and obviously you must vote them out by voting someone IN) then you take the CHANCE of voting in someone who is corrupt. You also take the chance of putting someone NEW and DIFFERENT in office with a mandate that “We’re not going to take any more Crap off our Rep., get it sonny? No more lack of common sense or you’re out TOO”.
