Huckabee: Sarah Palin Has a Very Different Political Direction Than I Do

Thursday, December 3, Jim Hoft

Huck spoke about Sarah Palin today saying, “She has a very different political direction than I do.” True.

She does not pardon or release cop-killing felons decades before their sentence is up.

The Hill blog reported, via Free Republic:

Former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Ark.) on Wednesday sought to put distance between former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) and himself.

Huckabee, in an interview with Christianity Today, stressed that the two potential 2012 presidential candidates have different “political direction[s]” and questioned both of their statuses as presidential contenders.

“We’re both Republican, we’re both pro-life—there are a lot of similarities that way—but she has a very different political direction than I do,” he said. ” I’m not sure of her future politically, and I’m really not sure of mine either.”

HuckaClemency will still run.

We know that he can never win, but his self importance and lust for attention and being in front of a crowd will drive him to run.

This smarmy little man will run as a spoiler if nothing else.

Let’s not forget that he lost the last election months before the end of the last campaign, but the selfish little game player stayed in so that he could continue his games, feel important and bathe in the limelight.

Huckabeee has already justified his actions (within his own mind) regarding the cop killer. If given the chance, he would make the same decision today.

Mark my words, he will find a way to be a spoiler and do everything he can to queer this next election..... it’s what makes him feel powerful, it makes him feel important and he loves the lifestyle that comes with the game.

Has Huckabee no shame? He caused the death of four police officers. He needs to go,hide his head in shame, and hope that people forget he exists. What a vile, cynical jerk!

Leave politics Huck and please don’t screw with our viable candidates for your ego’s sake.

The time to leave was yesterday.

Go, be gone, leave and don’t look back.

I think they would make a super team-up. Palin and Romney as VP.

Huckabee will probably wind up like Joe (low-life POS) Scarborough.

Huckabee has already been thoroughly attacked and insulted on a previous thread. Here's a chew toy, enjoy.

It's one thing to say that person should be welcomed in the party. The party is big enough to accept people who have different points of view that don't necessarily agree, but I think the overwhelming majority of the party is still very conservative, both fiscally and socially. While I'm very comfortable with someone saying, "I'm a Republican, but I believe in same-sex marriage," I would not be comfortable with the party as a party deciding to make that part of its platform. At that point, they would lose me. If they became a party that supported the termination of an unborn human life for no reason, I would find that at that point the party has left me. But does that mean everyone has to agree with me? Of course not. You can continue to be part of the party even if the party's official platform is pro-life and pro-marriage.

This guy should never have seen the light of day inside of any Republican tent. Why FoxNews gives him a platform is beyond me. Does anyone watch him? Really?

He’s right. Her direction is toward the right, his is to the left.

Gee, that was hard to figure out.

Huckster and Palin different, you betcha.

Sarah Palin’s son serves in the Army, just returned from a year in Iraq.

Huckster’s 2 sons and Romney’s 5 sons have never served in the military.
