This idea of freedom of speech is going to far with this Tea Party Express. White people in RV driving from city to city disrupting the townhouse meetings. Everyone wants and needs healthcare but the wealthy wants tax cuts, they can pay for healthcare for themselves and others. It won't stiphened their income. I think President Obama's Healthcare reform is great it allows people who can't afford healthcare to have it. That what the Hatians do. It's not socialism it's called taking care of your country so we can stand strong against the enemy. This capital government is a mess, Let me get mines and bump everyone else. WHERE IS YOUR HEART?

Hi! Just seen a thread about former President Bush being in Saskatoon. WOW! my mom’s neck of the “woods”.

Nope. No martinis. I adopted him and knighted him, because he served in the army, and that makes him worthy of being in my family.
So he is now (to me) Sir Dark Face. And I love him!

They most certainly were not public. We took great pains to ensure privacy and this was closely monitored to keep it that way...

I’m in Germantown MD, with a head full of mush after today’s grueling workshop. Travel plans have me going through DCA instead of BWI, else I’d be on the way to Baltimore and dinner at Timbuktu. But I will be speaking at a conference in Baltimore in March.

The time I have. Energy...no. Especially after two mostly sleepless nights preceding the grueling workshop. I’m planning to head in a bit to a nearby restaurant for dinner, then back to the hotel to pack (5 minutes or less) and crash. I need to be up fairly early to get into DC to the airport. (One colleague from WAS state was smarter; to took a room near the airport tonight — OTOH he booked an 8 AM flight.)

That’s so good of you, DC, but it seems to me the monitoring was over the top. As it were!
Anyway, I know you and NnB took care in ensuring tt76’s privacy.

I hope you get to rest and feel better, sion.

I had a window seat last time I flew into Ronald Reagan (DCA). It was before 9/11 and we had a wonderful close up view of the mall and many monuments. Dullas is usually cheaper and closer to my sister house. Do you know if they still have the same landing path over DC. It can’t change to much and still get to the airport.

Fun? Not lots. But the workshop today was interesting, if exhausting. Some 50-odd of us providing direction for a government organization — telling them where to go, so to speak.
