I think the reason this is all striking such a chord with seniors is because so many of us are already sick and tired of the euthanazia that’s already being pushed in this country and we don’t want any more of it. If there are too many people in this damned country we should break up into about 5 countries, and then we’ll be just fine.

Maybe it means that when confronted with the reality of what he’s about to do, what ever remains of his humanity recoils and he is forced to perform a self-comforting maneuver. To people like this man, in the end he has to make the decision as to whether he is willing to go to the end of the earth to pursue his idealogy to its logical conclusion. When they decide they will, millions usually die.
