As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and were saying not just no, but hell no!
The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obamas death panel so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their level of productivity in society, whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.
Health care by definition involves life and death decisions. Human rights and human dignity must be at the center of any health care discussion.
Rep. Michele Bachmann highlighted the Orwellian thinking of the presidents health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of the White House chief of staff, in a floor speech to the House of Representatives. I commend her for being a voice for the most precious members of our society, our children and our seniors.
We must step up and engage in this most crucial debate. Nationalizing our health care system is a point of no return for government interference in the lives of its citizens. If we go down this path, there will be no turning back. Ronald Reagan once wrote, Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life well ever see on this earth. Lets stop and think and make our voices heard before its too late.

We have abject evil amongst us. It has been festering for decades and is now rapidly advancing. The American people are seeing through it on this health care plan and are angry...and tired of being the patsy for all of these marxistic, socailistic, destructive, initiative robbing, liberty destroying, un- American, and unconstituional actions of the DNC, Dems, left, MSM, and RINOs.
Something is going to give, and so help me God, it will not be the liberty, constitution, and way of life my forefathers sacrificed their life's blood for.
The Dems and Obama seem intent on turning this into something more akin to Iran over this issue, with their own Basij thugs sent out to silence us, and Obama supporters called on by the Whitehouse to report any dissent. But that will not work here. It will backfire on them and ultimately they will be held accountable. We are not only aware of our rights and the sacrifices that have vouchsafed them for us, but we are also unwilling to submit to thugery and tyranny, and will use all means to prevent it and stop it.

I completely disagree. This was not a shotgun blast. It was a carefully aimed head shot.
My take-a PERFECT 10...right down to the correct use of EVIL and DAMN!
Yeah, I know. Should have come up with a better way to translate the quote to the present situation.
Statement on the Current Health Care Debate
Today at 4:26pm
As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and were saying not just no, but hell no!
The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. They might want to consult David Letterman first. Even with his 'wit' he got his "balls" handed to him.
Palin detractors are simply having difficulty recognizing a diamond-in-the-rough. Her instincts are real, her style may need some 'polish'.
I'll take a 'rough' American to a 'slick' Ivy Leaguer any day. One doesn't have to go to Harvard to read or understand our Constitution. It was written that way for a reason.
The concept of freedom for individuals- while unique to this country- is not that difficult to understand. Harvard is where people go to learn how to circumvent it's clear meaning with slicky, twisted interpretations geared toward furthering an agenda- certainly not what was envisioned for America.
We are currently at war with 'collectivists' who want to destroy private (ie individual) enterprise. Sarah represents a serious threat to their mission. However, things are so bad today, that Sarah could be president for the next fourty years and might not be able to dislodge 'their' grip on society. It is that deep.
What's very refreshing is knowing that someone is on the horizon who could very well attract a vast majority of Americans to want what their forefathers wanted for them origionally- liberty and freedom from governmental abuse or tyranny.
Even more refreshing is that it's a woman who doesn't shy away from the truth, but lives it. A woman who will step in and do the job of a man, if need be. And if it's a woman who wants to step-up and defend Lady Liberty, who am I to complain? A lot of dudes have let her down. The current WH occupant seems to want to make her his ho. Not on my watch.
Collectivists beware, and Letterman too. The 'free-ride' on the Bolshevic Train is coming to an end soon. Might want to work on your material.
“death panel”
Perfect. You go, girl. ;^)
“Cuda is back!”
And she’s more free, and has the time, to speak out than ever now that she’s not a governor any more.
Bullseye from the woman who knows how to shoot.
The media will claim that Palin is fanning the flames of violence against blacks. Other Republicans will be asked by the media if they agree with Palin’s statements. Thus forcing them to either siding with Palin or distancing themselves from her.
Funny though. After her resignation, the media mocked her for being a quitter and fool. Yet they continue to stalk her.
Had Linda over for dinner tonight and even she is seeing that something is not quite right.
She could not, however, resist from throwing the old “I just cannot step over the person dieing in gutter” argument for National Health care.
