Conservative commentators, leaders and thinkers have a responsibility to denounce idiocy put forward under the conservative banner. Republicans and conservatives have a real opportunity to take back the country in 2010 and 2012. But they aren’t going to do it by promoting outlandish conspiracies.

So well stated that I had to repeat your post. That’s the idiocy of the ‘reasoned and seasoned’ opposition to this: It’s a pretty simple matter to resolve.
Release the freaking document so that there can be no doubt as to the fact that he can’t establish where he was born. If he had a long-form BC, he’d have released it by now, same as McCain did.

For someone who's been around FR since 1998, you seem to have missed an awful lot on this story.
No one has seen anything but jpeg computer images of the documents you so boldly set forth as proof of Obama's legitimacy.
How did you miss the fact that the Obama campaign published a jpeg of a Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth, NOT a Certificate of Live Birth?
Do you even know what the difference is, and the fact that the Certification document is not sufficient proof of citizenship?

I tried. I can’t verify this claim. I am not saying it is or isn’t true. Just no evidence that I can find.

Been trying to bone up but can’t find a lot except questions. For egs, supposedly Maya Obama has Hawaiian COLB but born in Indonesia. No copy of her COLB that I can find.
What I have seen is the BO COLB, which is legal proof at this point. So if there is any real tangible evidence I would love to see it.

Obama is the one promoting the conspiracy because he is spending tons of money to hide something. Why? Is this a fun little game or does he just like to blow money for nothing?
