Watching it on ESPN, now. McNair & a woman are dead.
I guess someone got jealous?
That was my first thought, too.
Weird that there’s no flashing light on Drudge ....
How many athletes, actors, musicians, etc. have died over the past couple of weeks? It’s getting weird.
Good grief. I remember when McNair was one of the hottest young talents in the NFL. A real tragedy when someone dies that young.
RIP.
I’m wondering if this is related to an affair because I thought he was married, and they said on the news that he was at a girlfriend’s house. If so, what he did was wrong, and he’ll have to face God now, but he shouldn’t have been murdered.
I just saw him when he came with Baltimore two to three years ago to play our hometown team. I would have never believed it if you told me then that he’d be dead in a couple years.
I have a feeling facing God for adultery won't be nearly as bad as having to face God for running for U.S. President, even though you know you were born in Kenya.
Another possibility might be a murder-suicide.
I guess I can put away his #9 jersey for good. :-(
The story says “at his home” but I understand it was a condo down on 2nd Avenue. He may well have owned it, but I’m reasonably certain it was not his “home”. His home was probably down in Brentwood because that’s where most of these guys live. I live less than 2 miles from the stadium here and pretty well know my way around town after 23 years.

I wouldn’t count on that. The Bible throughout speaks strongly against adultery.
