Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) was on a Texas radio station yesterday where here explained his support a Republican floated bill which would mandate that all presidential candidates file birth certificates with the Federal Election Commission. When asked about Obama about Obama’s citizenship he said, “I don’t know.” Perhaps he needs to visit FactCheck.org.

He said, "You know that is a Constitutional requirement, and when office holders go whether it is a city council, or a state rep or a United States congressman, there are certain requirements that they must meet, and you know there was some question in the last election, about both candidates, so why not just have that candidate furnish documentation that says that this particular individual is a natural born citizen and then all of these questions aren’t lurking out there. It doesn’t apply to the last election. Some people think it is a bill to throw out Barack Obama, it’s not. It’s saying in the next presidential election let’s make sure that presidential candidates meet the Constitutional requirement.”

Why is it that since the 1960s, we’ve had all of these non-NBCs showing up on the ballots as presidential candidates? Before then (Chester A. Arthur excepted, of course) everyone running was a NBC. What happened?

Long-form BC has ‘verifiable information’ - name of the hospital where the child was born, the name of the doctor who delivered the baby, for example. That information can then be crossed to other hospital records to show the info on the BC is correct. The COLB doesn’t have that information. It has only generic information - name of the mother, date of birth - that does nothing to actually prove the child was born in Hawaii. Check out this GREAT site for more info:

Oh there will be Presidential elections. Sort of like the just completed one in Iran, where the votes cast and votes counted bear little to no relationship to one another. Also like politburo elections under Comrade Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili, whos is quoted by his secretary, Boris Bazhanov, as saying:

Very impressive research by Factcheck; they ‘verified’ the ‘birth announcement’ from a digital image they picked up from the texasdarlin website, an image sent to texasdarlin by an anonymous poster (Lori Starfelt) who received the image via e-mail from an employee of the library...who said; (paraphrased)’I just happen to have a copy in my folder, someone asked me for that a couple of days ago...)
And last time I looked, that particular comment on texasdarlin had been DELETED. I wonder why?

Given their current or near future capabilities, they are more likely to be able to nuke Anchorage, which is nearly 1,000 miles closer to N. Korea than Honolulu. Or perhaps Midway or Guam, both US territory and about the same range as Anchorage.
If they just want to make a point, they'll drop a dummy warhead in the Lagoon at Midway.

If we were not yet in the Computer age, and we did not have the internet and the world wide web, how would Presidential Candidate Obama publicly release his Hawaii birth certificate in order to prove to the American public that he was eligible to be President of the United States?
1. Newspapers and Hawaii birth certificate: Would candidate Obama have displayed a copy of his Hawaii birth certificate in local and national newspapers like USA Today?
2. Television: Would candidate Obama have bought time on local and national tv programs in order to display his Hawaii birth certificate?
3. If Obama could only use newspapers and television to display his Hawaii birth certificate, I say that Obama would have run into a lot of problems politically for the following reason:
Obama people would have no say as to who would touch and handle the Hawaii birth certificate at the newspapers and the television stations.
4. That is, once persons OUTSIDE of Obama's camp touched and handled Obama's Hawaii birth certificate, there would be more and more chances that someone outside of Obama's camp would closely examine the Hawaii birth certificate and start asking questions about whether or not the Hawaii "birth certificate" was a fake.
5. Also, some newspapers and tv stations might demand that Obama present his long form Hawaii birth certificate---the one with the names of Obama's birth hospital and birth doctor on it---instead of the short form we now see on the internet.
6. As I said, I was just wondering out loud.

The site I linked above says: Midway is an important refueling stop for a wide variety of short and medium range commercial, military, and private aircraft island-hopping across the North Pacific, and an emergency stop for long-range and ETOPS flights.
It also says that one of site owners is: "manager of Midway Sport Diving at Midway Atoll NWR". So at least few people who run the NWR, and refuel the aircraft, must live there.
Another "good" target, with some historical signifgence, would be French Frigate Shoals
It was here that Japanese flying boats were to have landed to take on fuel from submarines, but found the shoals occupied instead by US Warships(. That meant the aircraft could not fly over Pearl Harbor to determine the location of the US Aircraft Carriers, just prior to the Battle of Midway. By radio traffic analysis, the Japanese soon after determined that they, or at least a couple of them, were at sea, but they could not tell just where.
French Frigate Shoals is about 1/2 way between Midway and Oahu, which would put it at very limits of what the current NK missile is supposed to be able to reach.
On THIS form, the "CertificATE of Live Birth," there's a block for the hospital name (Block 6c), as well as blocks for a doctor, midwife or otherwise to sign as a witness (Block 19a & 19b): "I hereby certify that this child was born alive on the date and hour indicated."
