I found out today that cigarettes went up at least $5.00 a carton! Had not paid attention to news about it.

>>> Yes, if you recall a heat wave in France a few years ago killed thousands of their elderly. No more medical expenses for them, so it’s definitely a “win” for the government’s social planners. <<<

Yah, I was thinking the same thing. Hard to believe that there exist, here in the US, technocrats who read the news from France and thought to themselves “Yeah, that’s the ticket! If only we could do the same thing here.”

Well, we already pay about $2K a year for e-lec-tricity on our farm. Another $1,800.00 a year...well, that’ll have to be reflected in the PRICE we charge CONSUMERS for anything we PRODUCE.

I see a pattern here...and he’s not even been in office 100 days, yet.

Lord, help us all!

Yeah, if we used no water and no sewer, our bill would still be about $120 in fees.

Our garbage collection Christmas tree is almost as bad.

It’s the new thing, using the utility bill as a taxing vehicle outside of the normal property taxes.

>>> I get the part about the elderly even without skyrocketing energy costs. <<<

When O-Hell gave that speech and said that he didn’t want his daughters burdened with an unwanted child, it made me think of what other Americans would soon be singled-out as “unwanted burdens.”

I printed this out to hand to and discuss with Obamanut that may call at my house asking me to support Zero’s budget.

Also, I will demand to see a copy of their taxes Federal/California and property taxes paid this year and in 2008.

If they haven’t paid any taxes, they will be asked to leave my property at once.

me neither. I heat my house with electric heat. can’t afford a different way to heat and can’t afford the increase. My budget is down to the penny. can’t afford one thing more until this economy turns around.

“well, that’ll have to be reflected in the PRICE we charge CONSUMERS for anything we PRODUCE.”

They’ll fix it by confiscating anything you produce.

It isn't BS at all. McCain is the leading proponent of Cap&Trade and other Global Warming legislation in the Senate. Who do you think authored McCain/Lieberman? That was the model that the current Cap&Trade legislation is modeled on.

We'll have to watch if they introduce anything by stealth. You are right, you don't even need legislation to know energy, water, everything are going up anyway.

So you try to save on energy and get rewarded with higher bills. No surprise I guess.

The Obamabots are every bit as dangerous as the “0” himself. And more are being educated in our nations Colleges. Not much we can do about either. So there is more trouble ahead.

would soon be singled-out as “unwanted burdens.”

It's already that way even by their own children in many cases. But as economic pressure and anger mount, we'll become even more of a burden and resentment. The young don't think social security will be there for them, and don't want to have to pay for it. Pensions are a little different, but most go on social security whether they really need it or not, and it could be argued that they paid in all their lives, so why not? As employers, they got a double whammy for it, and the ceiling keeps going higher.

Ha!.....this is great. This will force people to go out and cut down trees and use the wood for fuel. There won’t be a tree standing in America if this MARXIST MUSLIM KENYAN gets this passed.

But by then, cutting down a tree will be a capital offense!
