I get the part about the elderly even without skyrocketing energy costs.
When the nation as a whole realizes their is "The LORD" ask then ask HIM that question we will be healed. But as for now? We as a nation {not as individuals} have the very government we have asked for. A GODless secular leadership void of any moral conscience or pirnciples. It's called a judgment upon a nation for it's behavior. A cycle as old as mankind itself post Eden.
The last POTUS we had I believe who truly understood this fact was Likely Reagan from what I have read about him. When he left office the secular humanismmovement took things over. What is good is called bad and what is bad is now called good by the wicked.

Not sure if the elderly or children will suffer most, but I know we are getting screwed. Our Gas/Electric uppped prices by 11% last year, without informing us. The bills were a shocker. And, it’s been increasing since and will increase moreso now.
What I hate the most about what Obama’s doing, what the MSM encourages, is this class envy crap. And it didn’t even start with Obama but is coming out more. Even here on FR, there’s so many posts that reek of class envy. Hell, the blaming of CEOs and the glee of them not getting their bonuses (or taxed at 90%, which is unconstitutional btw) is disgusting.
I’m not really worried since people survived in winter without govt provided heat and summer without AC but if we’re paying for it then hell I want to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I don’t want to pay for all those who can’t pay for themselves. This is ludicrous.

Well maybe, but I doubt it. The problem with McCain is that ,among other things, he isn’t a very good negotiator. His C&T policy would have actually been good for the country but probably for the wrong reasons, I’ll admit.

Wow! We get our water, sewer and trash pick up for about $42/month. It is a little higher in the summer but not much.

Neither can we. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 8 years and my husband can’t take on more, he just can’t. I may have to go back to work.
