Some woman ranted that Sarah Palin “was an insult to her daughter.” I have often wondered why Sarah was an insult to her daughter. My guess is it has something to do with abortion.

Thanks, saw this last night. I thought it was a great read.
Its all about creating role models for kids. Women’s magazines push pro-abortion feminists as the ideal role models for our daughters. Sarah Palin, as a likeable pro-life, successful woman, is unacceptable as an alternative role model. To the Left, our daughters must not have the right to choose.
I’m a recovering(former)Democrat, and from my experience in being one and being around them, they fear Palin. She’s smart,she’s down to earth, she hunts, she has what appears to be a good marriage, 5 kids and a career, she goes to church, her family has the same ups and downs as many other American families I’m sure..She’s not a Dem, she chose life over abortion knowing her baby had Downs, and on top of all that she’s gorgeous, her husband is handsome and her kids are beautiful. It’s enough to cause spontaneous combustion among Dems.
Sorry but this incessant promotion of Palin by other people is bordering on the ludicrous. This seems to be the same promotion on the level that the Leftards promoted Obama. Frankly Jindal is a far more conservative credentialed candidate than Palin and far more likely to attract minority votes which are fervently needed if we are to make a comeback. All of this is of course assuming we even have elections in 2010, never mind 2012.
How about a moratorium on discussion of the 2012 presidential election until July 2011.
Feel free to promote Jindal here then. I guess since this is a Conservative forum, looking into the possible contenders is reasonable.
IMHO Jindal should eye 2016 and beyond.

Friends, Cooper deserved to be a political casualty. I want Sarah Palin to be president because I want the Coopers in Washington, D.C. to be slain. I want their political heads stuck on pikes and paraded down Pennsylvania Avenue to the howls of a braying peasant mob. Why do I feel such contempt for this sniveling sanctimonious taxpayer-leech? Judy Patrick explains:
Patrick said John Cooper was a good example of Sarah's attempt to keep costs under control. "He was making $70,000 a year, and they would get something like one or two visitors a month in the winter. He wanted [to build] a big fancy museum, but we're talking about Wasilla, Alaska, here. We wanted to turn it into a seasonal museum. She wanted to streamline government and consolidate departments. We were looking for ways to be more efficient."
We've got a MAJOR ole buddy network of lawyers, lobbyists and bureaucrats that need to go in Washington. Voting for more insiders, is not going to clean house. Palin can't do it alone. We need Conservatives in Congress to make it happen. But we also need leadership to explain what's wrong and how its going to get fixed.
Its high time someone in Washington actually cared how taxpayer money is spent. Frankly, I'm tired of having to cut back to pay for the Christmas list of raving mad liberals. Its time for Washington to cut back BIG TIME!
