America’s new First Lady Michelle Obama wowed the crowd election night with her red-and-black Narciso Rodriguez dress from the designer’s spring 2009 collection. She accessorized with a black cardigan, kitten heels, diamond bangles and earrings.

I was also thinking that she walked like a man; you can tell just from that picture. She needs to stick with long, flowing skirts or hire a movement coach.

Michelle needs a make over. She does not dress right for her body type. And this dress is a perfect example. But then again, it looks ghastly on the model as well.
horsey is it, she needs to be careful what she wears to look good.......and what is the red statement in that dress....? a sexual implication? gees, this woman represents our country now, she needs to get some class. and the sweater destroys the designer look of the dress along with those flats...yikes, she can’t carry this look off and if she did what would THAT say...sexpot first lady?

The black part of the dress represents the obvious and the red part represents the red states that went blue. IMO, it’s an “in your face” dress.
And not appropriate for the occassion. I dont’ think dressing their little girls in black and red was appropriate either. Maybe i’m old fashioned, but we don’t even dress little girls in black for funerals. And a red dress on a little girl is appropriate only at Christmastime.
CBS, last night, kept going on that Michelle is the new Jackie Kennedy and will transform fashion...everyone will be dressing like her.
Let me just say this. I could NOT believe she actually went out in public in this garb! I do not comment on fashion, etc...I usually don’t care what people chose to wear...but that was the ugliest garb I have ever seen!
