Received a note from a few people inside the Louisiana State House. Jindal is in and he's ready for war.
This is not a Vanity. This is a tip.
Cantor is a RINO who caves. No way CANTOR, no how.
LOL! And my co-workers think I'm weird! btw - I'll join your crawl to the voting booth.
I’m up for hearing more of what Jindal is all about, cuz I don’t know nearly enough about him yet. We’ve got time, and we’ve got a better bench than we’ve had in years. But first and foremost, I want to hear a Conservative voice, not a Republican one. Palin has passed that test, hopefully Jindal and others will too.
I’d like to see the modern day equivalent of Barry Goldwater’s “The Conscience of a Conservative” from Sarah Palin in the next year or two. There are still at least 58 million Americans who are hungry to hear conservative ideals articulated at the national level.
I agree Newt has too much baggage personally, but he’d be the perfect mentor and architect to assemble a new conservative movement.
No way i’d ever vote for Huchabee!
Right center is a sure loser, the only thing in the middle of the road are yellow stripes and dead skunks.
Read Rove’s latest article in the WSJ - look at how many people call themselves center. You alienate the center like Sarah appears to have done and you lose the election.
Rove is total garbage!
He has almost singlehandedly destroyed the Republican party.
Sounds good.
There are a few videos of Jindal on YouTube so you can get a little bit of an idea.
Having Palin as an attack dog against Obama does not sound like a good idea to me. The MSM and the McCain campaign have done great damage to her. The MSM would pull the same act in 2012. I’m not even sure I’d like to see her run in 2012 as the Pres. nominee, unless the circumstances are utterly bad for Obama. I don’t want to see her destroyed again by the media. The media has gone off the rails with Obama mania, and sadly I think it worked this time around. But it’s still 4 years away, so we’ll just have to see.
Jindal 2012 sounds good to me. I will contribute money/time/etc. to oust Obama. Jindal is a true CONSERVATIVE. McCain just proved that you have to get the base first and then work outward if you want to win.
Folks,
Chicago politics is a garbage with hitman mentality. Democrats are very good in taking out our GOP leaders. I hope, Obama’s chicago mob does not take out on Jindal
Let’s figure out what we believe in first, and get everyone on board with it, before we start picking candidates.
Here comes the attack machine. Dem’s will be all over Jindal like stink on a Donkey.
I think we should acknowledge that Ron Paul was right about the economy. We should listen to him more. Ironically, he would have gotten a lot of the youth vote, but other than that he would have been smoked worse than McCain. But really, listen to him about the banking crisis. He was right all along.
I’m just reporting what I got told. Nothing more, nothing less.
The Murkowski stuff, not so much. But the Jindal thing, that’s direct from the mouth.
Gerard,
Your posts are pretty bizarre.
I think you’re a DU sleeper. You’re posting a lot tonight but your screen name is totally unfamiliar to me and I spend a couple hours on FR every night. You joined two years ago, shortly before the mid-term election which is good timing for a sleeper to start his career.
Whaddaya think?
“Jindal is Brilliant....he will destroy Obama in debates...”
Even money the Obama Justice Department goes after him for corruption or something.
And barring that he should stay away from Fort Marcy Park.
Rembrandt:
There are Republicans in this country that dont espouse half of the far right agenda that is often cast on the board. As a long time registered member and as an American, I dont have to agree with everyone on the board. To summarize, I am proud of my McCain-Palin vote. I do think that a lot of center-right Republicans did not vote this year because some of their concerns with Sarah. Still the economy factor would have prevented nearly any Republican from winning). Our party is in a state of shock right now and its the paranoia and the infighting that will only divide this party further.
So whattya think?
How about Jindal/Petreaus in 2012?

Well, I think you’re a RINO though you may not realize it and I KNOW that you don’t know how to spell “whaddaya.” I also think the Republican party will be better as a smaller party without the doubters, i.e., without the non-conservatives. As Rush has said many times, the Conservative party wins, Republicans win sometimes. Which one are you Gerard? I’m pretty sure I know which one you are.
Agreed. I am crazy for Sarah and know she has a big role to play in the Party's future. But 2012 may be optimistic. She has to crack the books, and work on her extemporaneous interview skills.
Jindal is Brilliant....he will destroy Obama in debates..
Yes. We need not fear that his academic credentials or experience will be questioned. They will hammer him on his religious beliefs, however.
