GOP Internal Polls (NJ, CA, MI, PA) Show Possible Landslide for McCain

The host here is talking to a guy who seems to be connected to some of the GOP bigwigs, who give him internal polling numbers. The audio link is abysmally slow. If this is accurate, and I cannot vouch for it, but it sounds like it might be, we could be in for a really great night of schadenfreude on Tuesday, watching the Chernobyl meltdown on MSNBC.

The minute they call the election for McCain, Im glued to pMSNBC.
Good choice.
Although I'll have to check out PBS...the taxpayer funded outlet
that had anchors CHEERING when the election was called for Bill
Clinton in 1992.

Of those four, only PA seems like a realistic win.

HHHHMMMMM you mean the MSM polling is ALL wrong? Wow....sure hope this is true!!Uh, hello, Princess, hello? This purports to be some GOP internal polling. GOP is short for "Grand Old Party", aka the Republican party.

People said the same crap in ‘04...it never happened.
Too many drugged-out Hollyweird types, yuppies, and immigrants for a Republican to ever win CA.

People have no idea how elections are done in Wayne County (yes, that's code for "Detroit") I've watched Michigan be solid red until the Detroit returns came in for the last several elections - HOWEVER - haven't there been a lot of people leaving Detroit? I've seen several stories regarding abandoned houses there. Maybe the demographics have changed enough to let the rest of the state prevail.

Tho I doubt it, if NJ is in play....them my Vote for McCain Nov 4-Vote for The Messiah Nov 5 campaign has successfully worked.

We can win this. The wind is at our backs. But McCain is no more going to carry California than I’m going to eat a Brillo pad for breakfast.

Wow, over the past few days we all cant help feeling a very very
strong wind towards McCain.
I'm holding my breath. And will have to pinch myself IF McPalin
pull of the upset of the age.
If it happens, Obama/Biden/Socialists will say it was vote suppression
and a stolen election.
People with intellectual honesty and a decent grasp of demographics,
statistics, and polling will see the event as fodder for thousands
of PhDs theses.
All on the topic of the "halo effect" in polling.
MANY people couldn't tell pollsters in person and many even
over the phone:
"No, I won't vote for Obama".
For RATIONAL fear they'll be thought of as racist, anti-progressive,
and downright UNCOOL.

I drove thru eastern Niagara County, NY (rural) yesterday. I saw about 20 M/P signs. 0 for 0.

I've seen several stories regarding abandoned houses there. Maybe the demographics have changed enough to let the rest of the state prevail. Heck, yes, people have left this state. But, that won't deter them from voting absentee in MI while they vote in the state where they now reside.

I think their internals are counting on the crackheads in Newark, Detriot, Philly, and LA to sleep in.

UH HELLO Maggie dear.....I am talking about the “other” polling aka polls that have us so far behind it looks useless and over with. Obviously not if this GOP poll (and I think EVERYONE knows what that stands for)..
I do hope in the states listed we ARE truly moving ahead and that this pollster have it correct!

over the past few days we all cant help feeling a very very strong wind towards McCain. I couldn't agree with you more. Over the past few days I've had several people privately admit to me that they are going to vote(or already have) for McCain--people I never dreamed would vote for a Republican.
And my analysis is they are not just now deciding. They decided long ago but only now feel confident enough to tell anybody.
Unfortunately they aren't willing to be more public about their choice, but I got at least one to put a "Another Democrat for McCain" bumper sticker on their car.
