The host here is talking to a guy who seems to be connected to some of the GOP bigwigs, who give him internal polling numbers. The audio link is abysmally slow. If this is accurate, and I cannot vouch for it, but it sounds like it might be, we could be in for a really great night of schadenfreude on Tuesday, watching the Chernobyl meltdown on MSNBC.

I sure don’t get the sense we are looking at a McCain landslide, but I would love to be wrong.
I would to believe this, however it’s hard to see it as anything else but fantasy.
While I am hyper confident of an EV and PV victory for McCain, these numbers smell. They were posted yesterday too.
I am a realist and an optimist. Just not a delusionalist.

Frankly, I have an extremely hard time seeing MI go for the McMaverick. People have no idea how elections are done in Wayne County (yes, that's code for "Detroit")
Can you believe we are getting giddy about a McCain win? No, it is an Obama loss that inspires our tireless perserverance. He MUST lose, and the anticpated 60 Senate seats CANNOT happen.
McCain could very well win...but a “landslide” for McCain isn’t gonna happen.
That said I don’t think Obama will win by a big margin either, if he does manage to pull it off.
Neither candidate will break over 300 to maybe 305 EV’s...absolute best-case. I actually think a McCain win of 299-239 is about his best possible, and Obama’s best possible is about 290-247.
I so want to believe this, but... heh. Yeah, right. I'll believe it when I see it.
As the riots break out around my city (Oakland, CA), I'll check out DU and MSNBC.
If I make it thru the night alive, I'll go out and take pics of the destruction 0bama's boys have caused.
Just in case, might want to stock up on c-rats and bottled water.
