October 15, 2008 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Today, KDKA Radio in Pittsburgh, PA, the oldest radio station in the country, and a CBS affiliate, censored Kevin Miller, one of its conservative talk show hosts while he was on the air. The station management cited complaints by Obama supporters and the Obama campaign as the reason that they are asking talk show host, Kevin Miller to "rethink" the direction of his show over the course of the next two weeks leading up to the campaign. They humiliated and threatened him on the air today in what can only be called an act of extortion. They have offered three hours of air time to Senator Obama sans the presence of Kevin Miller or any other KDKA talk show host. NO questions will be asked. Senator Obama will be allowed to speak without interruption. This is completely appalling and a perfect example of the main stream media bias for Senator Obama. If KDKA and CBS are concerned with equality and freedom of speech, they should be offering the same uninterrupted air time to Senator McCain. What will happen to freedom of speech and the conservative pundits in the course of an Obama presidency? It is frightening to consider. Please let people know about this.

NO questions will be asked. Senator Obama will be allowed to speak without interruption. Doesn't the law require that Senator McCain be given the same opportunity?

I was listening to this. I think they were just trying to make a point what could happen. I hope it wasn’t for real.

Ah, yes, the Fairness Doctrine.
This is a harbinger of what’s coming.
Talk Radio as we know it today will be gone or underground.

You need to provide a credible link to this article. The link you provided is bogus.

This seems unreal, even for the MSM. Also, it does not seem to be supported at the link provided.
Please link to the exact article where this is mentioned, or, are these your own words?
To: misspittsburgh
The only other mention I could find of this was from the
Puma-up People site.
In response to complaints about the bias shown by afternoon talk show host, Kevin Miller, on KDKA radio in Pittsburgh, the CBS Parent Company had the local station manager come on the air during todays 2:00 hour to announce that the station will offer 3 hours of Kevins air time to Senator Obama to use as he would like.
Here is the link to
KDKA Radio. I am out of country at the moment, but if this is true there will be hell to pay a Gateway Center when I get back.

Our great country is being attacked from without and within.
Muslims around the world call us the great satan.
Europe wants us neutered.
Russia, Iran and Venezuela think they can intimidate us.
And the dims and the msm’s are fixin’ to corronate a freaking Socialist.
Who will give into everything they want.
And the fairness doctrine is just the first attempt to permanently alter the First Amendment.
I think Ben Franklin said it best:
IF WE DON’T HANG TOGETHER, THEN WE WILL SURELY HANG SEPERATELY.
