October suprise
This is probably a rumor...... but nothing would surprise me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let me share some info with you that I have gotten from excellent sources within the DNC: On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2. There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info.
Generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible. I have already seen a few short blurbs about this - the "health problem" cited in those articles was an aneurysm. Probably many of you have heard the same rumblings. However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like this Obama strategy will be a go.
Therefore, it seems that the best strategy is to get out in front of this Obama maneuver, spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is. So, let's start mixing this one up and cut the Obamites off at the pass - send this info out to as many people as you can - post it on websites and blogs - etc etc
Lastly, I have put an excerpt from Rudy Giuliani's speech at the 2008 RNC below - it seems to address this very issue:

This seems cut and pasted. I have read the exact same stuff posted elsewhere. This is some kind of viral message astroturf stuff seems to me.
Not going to happen. The Clintons and Obamas despise each other, if you hadn’t noticed. Michelle especially dislikes Hillary. I think Hillary has decided to cut her losses and start preparing for 2012.
Yeah. That would sure cement The One’s reputation for good judgment.
The “october surprise” will be if this isn’t post yet another 1800 times by October.

The October surprise is something Camp Clinton will spring on Obama that will throw the election to McCain so she can take it in 2012.
This will never happen. The Clintons hate the Obamas. Hillary didn't want second place, much less second to second place... to a losing ticket. She'll be waiting "4 more years".
Sleep well... even if it did happen, the voters will realize Obama can't make a good decision when it's necessary.

Should be mentioned, it appears that the Clintons are quitely backing Sarah Palin...not that I’m thrilled about it, they are making the sort noises that leads ones to believe...
It may not be legal to do any ballot changing at this point in the election cycle, not that Dems care about legal...

Heck...Old Slick practically endorsed McCain/Palin on ABC's The View, much to the chagrin of Barbara Walters I'm sure.
