Here is video of remarks former President Bill Clinton made about Gov. Sarah Palin in an interview with CNBC's Maria Bartiromo. Clinton said he understood why Palin has done so well, and warned that it would be a mistake for people to underestimate her. . . . (see video at link)

Clinton said exactly the same in 2000 about Dubya. The Dims did not listen. Hopefully they won’t either this time.
Bill’s got a tingling going up his leg....
LOL. I almost choked on my breakfast at your comment.
My Bubbasense is tingling......
Kind of ironic, because Hillary never considered Obama as an opponent for Prez until it was too late.
And in fact, I'd say Obama never expected to take her and his run was actually aimed at 2016.
That's why he's so friggin' lost and resorted to trips to foreign shores, big elaborate sets. He needs "scenes" to make him into something he isn't..
And then there's the cr** about him announcing his VP via texting. Whoopee do....
He's a follower of Saul Alinsky....just like Hillary.
Maybe when they believe in LIFE and MORALITY, I'll think about voting for a Dem...which is NEVER.
What Bill really means is, “I think she’s a babe.”
I’m really stunned. I can’t believe that it’s BILL CLINTON who is the ONLY Democrat where I can believe he’s being sincere or honest!
Now she has to prove that they are wrong that she is better or she is no asset to the campaign.
Looking at different polls it´s the second round and she has to convince the people again but therefore she has to meet the press and assure the people “i can do this” 2i am ready” and “i am different than the picture you have at the moment”.
The Fox interview does not help here. It would not help Obama or Biden to convince moderate republicans with an interview by Olbermann because these people do no watch Olbermann. The same is true for Hillary supporter and the women target group. The republican base is convinced that palin is good. Now she has to go out.
People talk about what they've seen on TV.
And a calm, positive, happy Palin (as we've seen on Fox) provides good water-cooler grist to counter the Kos Kiddies' scripts about Charles Gibson Air Speed Velocity of an Unladen Swallow, "Troopergate", and the like.
Incidentally, most of the women I talk to are voting Palin because "she gets it."
Only the rabid pro-aborts are not.
And I live in Minnesota -- the only state to vote AGAINST Reagan in 1984.
Cheers!
They could boost ratings by advertising it as "Mud Wrestling -- Hot Girl on Girl Action" ...
Cheers!
The polls show a clear picture. Palins numbers are down. They hit her hard and this had an effect and she has to fight this.
“ncidentally, most of the women I talk to are voting Palin because “she gets it.”
At the moment the sun is shining where i live but that does not mean that the sun shines everywhere. If i want to know if the sun is shining elsewhere or everywhere that does not help. It´s the same thing with people always post here: OH nobody called me so this poll must be wrong
It is pitiful to hate and despise someone just because they might cause the defeat of your candidate. To go after and try to destroy a good women or man just because of this is so incredible wrong and immoral that I have trouble finding the words to describe people who do this. Obama has tons of solid evidence of his marxism and bad decisions, gaffs etc. Stuff doesn't have to be made up to defeat him. Good people just need to be informed of what he has done.
Well Obama’s people and his campaign are getting very nasty
He wouldn’t be doing that if his internal polling showed he wasn’t in trouble
You Love sarah but you ar enot the people she should add to the Mc Cain ticket. remember her first speech and the target group she should win.
Sure Obama was in big trouble Sarah was everywhere and dominated the news but the MC cain campaign lost that and not only because of the economic issue and the economy is strong comment.
The left has such a huge misconception of conservatives. The think conservatives are racist, sexist, homophobes. That is partly why the Palin pick blind sided the Obama campaign and still has them reeling.
BTW, did you see the good Governor being interviewed by Sean Hannity? She did fantastic and addressed each of the prominent slurs the left and their media shills are throwing around about her. I am really starting to digg her accent. At first, I didn't like it, but like what she said, now, I am looking forward to hearing her nice voice and unique dialect for the next 40 years.
Palin should invite Bill to a dinner roundtable to discuss economic matters. Given the signals he’s been giving off lately, one has to wonder whether he would decline the offer.
Only among those polled. I have never seen or heard of the number of people who are normally nonpolitical openly saying that they are going to vote for Palin. And Minneapolis is historically a very blue area.
So for me this comes down to:
"Who are you going to believe, polls or your own eyes and ears?"
(Rush Limbaugh predicted events like this in the wake of Palin's RNC speech.)
Cheers!
If the topic is the prediction of a election or any other event in the future than i take the polls because my eyes and ears are not statistically representative.
If that would be the case it would be very easy to predict future events just call me.
In other cases i trust my eyes and ears just a question of the problem i have to deal with and this comment of Rush Limbaugh shows that he has a different profession where he clearly is successful
Look at the track record of the polls -- many are "in the tank" for the Dems, and are surprised at Presidential election results, lending credence to Dem charges of "voter fraud".
You need to look at the internals of the polls to see if they are overweighting groups historically favorable to Democrats; either overweighting compared to the population at large or overweighting by their likelihood to show up and actually vote on Election Day.
(E.g. one poll yesterday on RealClearPolitics which said "likely voters" only had about 2/3 of the sample as likely voters, with the remainder merely as registered voters.
With the polls on paper being so lose, even a small shift like that may be significant.
Cheers!
