What is the actual advantage of being the ‘first Black’ to run for President? The Blacks are low statistically compared to whites and hispanics so he can't win on Black vote.
I'm in the south, hate to even write this out but there are many who will still not vote for a Black person. I know that and I am not prejudiced myself.
I also know that the Blacks and Hispanics do not get along down here, there are even gangs that fight over this.
So I am puzzled about the ‘advantage’ of being Black???

I am NOT voting for McRINO because his opponent is black.
I would GLEEFULLY vote for a J.C. Watts type candidate
and in a heartbeat.
It AIN’T being black or NOT being black that makes any
difference to me. It is what is in the candidate’s HEAD
that drives my vote.
The thing that drives ME crazy is that my choice is between
some fool like McRINO and The Obamassiah. Now THAT’S crazy!
Bottom line in this election for me is do I want a Socialist
like Obama or a lousy RINO for Prez? I’ll take the RINO
this time around.
And hopefully the GOP get to choose our candidate next time

Black leaders and spokespeople will not be happy untl everyone in America continues to to feel guilty about slavery and discrimination against blacks.
Voting for Obama is the liberal’s way of assuaging that guilt, the black population see him as “one of their own,” and the other whites who have bought into this guilt-trip will likewise feel like the liberals.
Meanwhle, the media cannot find a high enough pedestal on which to place him, and continue to be enamored by the “First Black Man” running as the Democratic Nominee for President.
There’s a boatload of political capital riding on Obama being black.
Essentially 100% of the black vote, plus essentially 100% of the oh-so-liberal vote, plus the white guilt vote. Add that to the people who would vote for Satan (D) as long as that all important (D) follows the name, and it gives him a bit of an edge.
These days the candidates are so insipid that elections are usually decided by razor thin margins. Any slight edge can be enough.
There are still pockets of prejudice, but they've been fading. If you take a look back in history, Truman was worried about stopping lynching mobs. We've come a long way since then.
The perfect example of the advantage of being black: let us take a look at Count Barackula Millhouse Dumbama aka ‘He Who Must Not be Named’. He mentioned a few days ago that he was in the Banking Committee— worse than a misstatement. It's like me saying that Corvette over there is mine. Rush Limbaugh hardly touched the issue. If he started lampooning Obama too much about being an idiot [like he would any white guy], people would call him prejudiced. Obama said we have 58 states if I recall correctly. Obama or Dum-bama? If McCain or Bush said that, just imagine the hoopla.
