Simply put, we need a candidate who does not believe in enlarging a government that has already grown far too big.

Huckabee Calls for National Smoking Ban in Public Places

Kinda blows that whole "doesn't-believe-in-enlarging-government" thing out of the water, doesn't it?

I think the general voting population has had enough of both Texas and Arkansas presidential candidates.

There is no way I would support a candidate that is the food police, the cigarette police and many other areas that the government does not belong. Stay out of our lives and perhaps I would support him.

Mike Huckabee is an articulate defender of conservative values, likeable and electable.

It's going to take a miracle for any of the other primary candidates to catch up with him in the polls because of this. LOL!

To have a conservative candidate as our nominee, we need to rally behind a single candidate and need to do so fast.

No, we do not. We need to have a nice primary where they fight it out by promoting themselves and their ideas without attacking each other.

Which, by the way, you did very well. Good job!

Well, Mike Huckabee has an entertaining way with words, two soulful big browns, and a quick wit, but Mike Huckabee is no conservative!

He is soft on the open border problem, panders to Hispanics, praises sanctuary cities, and he refused to sign to No Amnesty bill, calling it silly.

He is big on national health care and high taxes. And I am not so sure about his stand on the rights of the unborn.

There is only one, count them one, consistent conservative Republican candidate running for Commander in Chief, who has all the credentials required to take this country off the suicide course it is now on, and that man is Rep. Duncan Hunter.

..Huck and I share the same faith, even the same denomination, but his application of said faith to civil government is wrong.

His disingenuous way of handling the immigration and border security issue makes him unacceptable to me--I have a candidate anyway, his name is Duncan Hunter--winner of yesterday's Texas Straw Poll...

Simply put, we need a candidate who does not believe in enlarging a government that has already grown far too big. That candidate needs to be an articulate representative of conservative philosophy and needs the skills and organization to realistically be able to capture the nomination. Gov. Huckabee is one such candidate and has positioned himself as the best conservative candidate in the race.

BWAHAHAHA! Thanks, I needed a good laugh this afternoon. Mr. National Smoking Ban is a conservative?

ROFL. Nobody's buying your BS pal.

If Huckabee's nominated, I'm voting 3rd party. I want a President, not a Daddy.

“To have a conservative candidate as our nominee, we need to rally behind a single candidate and need to do so fast.”

But “Give three Congressional Seats to Washington D.C.” Huckabee isn’t it.

Sorry. Hunter is the man, failing that, Thompson.
