Welcome back to Hardball, I'm Chris Matthews. Where do we draw the line between free speech and offensive speech? Joining me via satellite is Michael Richards, who played Kramer on the old Seinfeld show. Mr. Richards, welcome to the show.

Just saw where Richards is also going to appear on the Jesse Jackson show. Man this guy is a real Has Been looking for attention. If this idiot thinks this will jump start his career I got news for him.
I always thought he was the funniest character on "Seinfeld". Now I find him pathetic.
He justs need to fade out and stay there.
To: Captain Peter Blood
He doesn't have to appear in person. He can just send his wallet.

There is no line to be drawn. Free speech is free speech. The Constitution does not give anyone the right not to be offended.

I agree--this is just pathetic. One apology was sufficient, especially in view of the fact that the hecklers did not apologize for calling him a "cracker".
