If you have to ask, you aren't going to be successful in life.
I'll put his NEW Book, next to Then Darkness Fled, a story of Booker T. Washington. Good stuff not only for blacks, but poor whites, some Native Americans, Aztlan crowd, and the hippies, beach combers and welfare moms. Let's translate it into 18 different languages. I tip my hat today, and hope that Hurricane Rita doesn't blow this post off of Free Republic, but that it goes around and around.
Male blacks should start taking responsibility for their children or keep it zipped less they plan to stay in a long term relationship so they have a part in raising wholesome black children with two role models.
There are no real role models for family values in the U.S. - only the big "dons" like the extortionists, Jackson, Sharpton and Farrakhan who make a good living off the black male's arrogance and extorting the government to look after all the "babies created" instead of focussing on the males who created them.
The females aren't much better seeming to believe if they make a baby, it will mean permanent protectorship. HAH!

Walter Williams (I think) summarizes all this by saying:
1. Finish high school.
2. Get a job, any job.
3. Get married before having children, and stay married.
It doesn't matter what race a person is, or how poor they were to begin with. If they follow these rules, they will almost never be in poverty.
Ah...the irony.
Black people have the same road to success as you or me. The important thing is that once you get there, you've only started. Success is a continuous journey spurred on by the pain of even small failure, and the ultimate triumph of God-given will, intellect and especially persistence over circumstance.
The lion cannot hunt just once and retire.
Yes.
No.
Yes.
They are front groups for the DemoCrap Party.
The same way everybody else did. Hard work, schooling, and by stop having kids before they are educated, employed and earning and income.
"Talk proper english for one....no more "hood" talk."
Would the same apply the white southerners with a thick accent who use colloquialisms?
America is the land of opportunity and not the pig pregnant with money and million tits!
The link and the title of this do not match. Do you have a working link for this?
I like your tagline about facts. So I'd like to ask if you know the following:
- the percentage of African Americans on government assistance, and the average income of those who are not
- the percentage of black mothers who have multiple babies by multiple fathers
Any help would be appreciated.
Good advice.
Great point -- you're one of the few people willing to apply the "speak properly" test to whites as well as blacks. Kudos.
They could always try listening to Bill Cosby's advice.
***
A lot of people, black, white, whatever race or ethnicity, would do well to listen to Dr. Cosby.
Yeah.....
