New Orleans is a city famous for its music makers, but none more loved than Fats Domino.
The 76 year old Fats had eight children with his wife Rosemary, who lived with him and his daughter in a three-story pink-roofed house. On Monday afternoon, Domino told his manager, Al Embry of Nashville, that they would not be attempting to flee the city as officials suggested.
The Grammy Lifetime Achievement winner and Rock Hall of Fame member was missing for several days and concern for his welfare was nationally noted when his home in the 9th district of New Orleans was discovered under water.

hmmm gotta go to the link huh?
This has to be the worst written account I've ever read. Was he found...dead or alive?
Please provide a link or substantiation that he has been found...and in what condition. Thanks.
They found him ALIVE. Its on Google News.
But where is Chubby Checker?
I agree. This thread needs to be pulled by the moderator.........
Alive according to the MSM.
Not to be uncharitable, but now can we get back to our regularly scheduled disaster?
With bodies floating in the street, looters on the loose, I can't get too exited about a musician.

("Grow your own dope. Plant a liberal")
Or this author.
No kidding chief. IQ is low 50's on a warm day in the sun.
Chubby Checker is either performing a few miles down Highway 60 from me at the casino or he is at home in Pennsylvania. I used to watch his bus go by my childhood home when he went out on tour, actually. I grew up in Chester County, PA.
Small Word, we lived in Harleysville and Chubby's sister-in-law lived next door. Out basset hound bit Chubby's kid on the hand.
It's a smaller world still.
My Dad and I used to service the trucks that belonged to both the stone mason and the landscaper that did most of the work on Chubby Checker's estate.
HAD? eight children....how many does he have now?
I guess he was one of those poor people who just couldn't afford to evacuate?
