BTW, two reasons why my BP plummeted in just 3 weeks. One was the BP pills which fortunately have had NO side effects PLUS doing more exercise. According to the nurse, just a half hour per day of brisk walking is all you need to keep BP down (with the pills).

Tonight I will be submitting my questions to the office of the vice president and WILL be receiving written answers via email tomorrow afternoon some time. I have sought legal advise to craft as many questions as possible that will not require a hipaa violation for answers. As this site will probably not be hosting this discussion I will arrange for the "document"" (lol) to be prominently posted elsewhere.

What did they put you on? I've been on Atenolol for about 5 years. My BP is still borderline. Low number is still in the upper 80's.........I stick with the Atenolol because of the "no side effects". He has been threatening to put me on something more drastic but I have been resisting.

I think it would be hard for Andyliners to show up here because we wouldn't let them divert us into a flamefest. We wouldn't let them divert us, period.

You can always tell people who have no class. If you can't get your point across without all the four letter words, you don't really have clue anyway.

 

One of the reasons it sets FR apart from all the boards on the net. It must appeal to the majority, since FR has the largest membership on the net for a political site.

This is like the Clinton era. Every Dumbocrat in the nation knew he was a lieing scumbag, but no one would give him up, because he is one of theirs. To do so will admit that their heros have clay feet.

Also like the Alger Hiss case. When Hiss died, Tom Brokaw said that Hiss was finally proven to be INNOCENT based on some documents revealed by an ex-KGB guy. Then Brokaw the very next day had to RETRACT his statement about Hiss because those documents proved NOTHING. Hiss was guilty. In fact, even Tim Russert recently said that right after Yalta, when the American group traveled home, Hiss secretly went to Moscow to receive an award for the help he gave the Soviets. However, for years Liberals screeched that Alger Hiss HAD to be innocent.

The worst flamefests on CU were caused by the moderators. I've never seen anything like it before, and I don't care to see it again! That place is no better than DU as far as the Andy situation, prohibiting any further discussion of the topic. They sure rode around on their high horses about "free speech" and that silly Thunderdome, "down and dirty and no holds barred!" Just don't talk about Andy...lol.

And the "stick around, post on other topics" was absurd. I don't want mods or other posters telling me where I should be posting. They taunted and slammed us repeatedly for joining their forum, and they think that makes people want to stick around?!

Here on FR, I've posted almost exclusively to the DUFUS for the last couple of weeks and no one here has given me a hard time about it. Thank God!

I'm wondering if Pied Piper Pitt went so far undercover with Andie that he became one of "them." That would explain the mysterious hold that Scamdy seems to have over Pitt.

I'll be honest with you. After you started mentioning Clare Booth Luce, I've looked at several pics of her and gotten absolutely NO schwing alerts. Are there any pics of Clare Booth Luce in a thong bikini? Maybe that could do the trick.

I'm on Lisinopril. I think it is a Beta Blocker. Anyway I was scared of taking any sort of BP pills because a couple of years ago a friend of mine suffered HORRIBLE side effects from his BP pills. Extreme dizziness, unable to sleep, couldn't drive his car, plus he thought his talleywhacker went dead permanently. BTW, you also NEED to walk at least a half hour per day. That is very important.

You're 100% correct. I couldn't believe they were telling people they couldn't be real members because they hadn't posted on any other thread. The Mods caused most of the problems, talking back and forth to each other and pretending they were above it all. They caused the "flaming" and the Dome was a joke. The language didn't bother me, it's just that it was used for know purpose.

I have never seen Mods spend so much time telling everybody how hard they worked and patting each other on the back. Maybe, if they had stayed out of it they wouldn't have had so much to clean up.

In the end they used us and we used them. The difference is they could have picked up members if they hadn't spent their time antagonizing us and kissing DUmmy rear end.

My dog takes Atenolol for his blood pressure too. He also takes something called Norvasc. I didn't even know there were side effects from taking them. Of course he can't exactly tell me he's having side effects.

I do remember somebody telling me Atenolol can make you sleepy but I guess you get use to eventually.

Anyway, I think it's funny that dogs are taking the same medicine as people.

I'm beginning to think that dis"Gruntled" was actually a CU'er, maybe Scott, which is why he was allowed to get away with so much. I remember him saying he gave money to Scamdy and then talked to Scamdy on the phone. After talking to Scamdy on the phone his attitude changed. What a perfect way to get crap out and not have to sully your real CU name. None of us know what was going on behind the scenes. Anyway, that's my two cents.

You are not alone, I was thinking Gruntled was a CUer with a new name, I wondered if it was Scott although Scott did post some in the same threads as Gruntled.

Runnin the ranch takes about a 6 mile hike pretty much every day. Plus the Ranch boss (Sierra the malamute) and the ranch protector in training (Dixie the lab), have to walk out to the pond every day to make sure our waterfowl nursery still has plenty of water in it........LOL  It's about a mile round trip. We have no problem with the walking part of it. Heh,heh

I actually signed up over there and then I read the thread you are referring to. There is no way in hell I will be posting at that site. From the little I ahve sen of either, it is no different than DUmmieland except one is left and one is right. It was like a bunch of little kids playing with a magnifying glass and ants....they were just there to mess with the new people there and to throw their supposed insults at them. Freaking pathetic!!!
