You're 100% correct. I couldn't believe they were telling people they couldn't be real members because they hadn't posted on any other thread. The Mods caused most of the problems, talking back and forth to each other and pretending they were above it all. They caused the "flaming" and the Dome was a joke. The language didn't bother me, it's just that it was used for know purpose.

I have never seen Mods spend so much time telling everybody how hard they worked and patting each other on the back. Maybe, if they had stayed out of it they wouldn't have had so much to clean up.

In the end they used us and we used them. The difference is they could have picked up members if they hadn't spent their time antagonizing us and kissing DUmmy rear end.

I actually signed up over there and then I read the thread you are referring to. There is no way in hell I will be posting at that site. From the little I ahve sen of either, it is no different than DUmmieland except one is left and one is right. It was like a bunch of little kids playing with a magnifying glass and ants....they were just there to mess with the new people there and to throw their supposed insults at them. Freaking pathetic!!! Thank God for FR!

The funniest things was one of the mods said something like "I bleeped your momma", and then some of the other idiots started bragging about how the mod owned the guy, and how clever he was etc. I thought I was back in the 8th grade.
I hope they enjoy going back to having 10 or 20 people on their site at one time.

Exactly right.

The constant lamentations of the mods was like listening to nails on a chalkboard. If they weren't starting flamefests, they were complaining about having to "clean up", that they were bored with topic, that new people shouldn't just be posting on those threads, blah blah blah.

It reminded me of a person who does you a "favor" and then constantly reminds you they did it to the point where you wish they'd never bothered and you just did it yourself. Some favor, "allowing" us in their living room just to throw rocks and bile at us, lol.

In all of our Andy threads here, probably around 14,000+ posts, I think we've had one comment by a mod, just telling someone to knock of personal attacks. One comment out of that many posts. On CU the mods infested every single thread derailing the discussion, moving posts, locking, unlocking, etc.
