Simple solution: (1)Withdraw the invitation or (2)Find some resposible teen-age kids among the friends or relatives to run a nearby babysitting service. You should be able to invite whoever you want to your wedding. If some of the visitors are coming from a distance where an overnight stay is possible, it would be expected to provide someplace nearby to accomodate those who can't leave young children at home.
Some kids are extremely well-behaved. My two daughters attended a brother's wedding as tots and entertained the elderly guests just by allowing themselves to be passed around.

She knocks these sorts of questions out of the park with with one hand tied behind her back. She is beautiful and conservative, too.

If you're getting married in a church, they'll probably let you use the nursery if you a) hire a sitter or b) pay one of the church sitters. It's worth asking.

First of all do not be suaded by losers who try to make you feel guilty and convince you that unruly kids are all in your imagination. They do not see it as a problem but
it's not their wedding. These people are not even aware that their kids are despised by strangers.
I would simply send them a note saying that you regret their inability to attend and leave it at that. No further explanation or apologies are necessary.

Suggestions:
- Stune their beebers in advance.
- Elope to Tiajunna (beware of Customes).

Why are you sending out invites 4 months ahead? The proper time is 2 to 6 weeks ahead.

The invitee is being rude. If one cannot attend a function for whatever reason, one should respond to the invitation with regrets.
The stated inability to find a baby sitter four months in advance is a bit suspicious, but it would be impolite, to say the least, for me to speculate further.
Weddings are often fraught with such diplomatic challenges.
Hang tough, and try not to let it upset you further.

This is your wedding. If the "invitee" has a problem with this, she should simply send a card and gift. That would be polite of her/him. Whining and complaining? Hmph. Did you put in the invite: no snot-nosed whining adults attend either? Obviously, this invitee has "personalized" your invitation. lol.

It is rude of you to exclude people's children. It is also rude of your guest to ignore your clearly-expressed preference. A pox on both your houses.

Pay some 14 to 16 year old cousins/kids of friends to run a "day care center" or "day camp" with videos, games toys, etc., either on-site or in one of the hotel rooms where a guest will be staying (the guest won't need the hotel room during the wedding). Be sure and make up some Tootsie Pop bouquets if the little kids are girls. It will cost you a little dough, but it will be worth it.

What should you do? Hope you have family left that will still talk to you after calling all their children snot nosed kids.
Get your priorities in order.
To: al baby
First make sure Kerry isn't elected!
Then tell those who complain about kids that it is your wedding and those are your terms. PERIOD.
You will feel differently when you have kids, but you will learn that on your own.
Now, how about taking care of that first item? LOL!! Good luck on your wedding, better luck on your marriage (they are quite different matters).

Delusions are often functional. A mother's opinions about her children's beauty, intelligence, goodness, et cetera ad nauseam, keep her from drowning them at birth.
