You've labelled conservatives who don't vote for liberals as "conservative purists" if those liberals are Republicans.

Conservatives who don't vote for liberals aren't "conservative purists", they're Real Americans(tm).

So cut it out and find yourself some conservative causes that we CAN agree upon. Arnold isn't a conservative cause, nor does he lead to one somewhere down the road.

It isn't about having things 100% their way, it's about right and wrong, it's about defeating, not embracing liberalism.

Responsible Americans vote. And adults don't whine.

But there is a difference between stating your views with passion, and bludgeoning those who disagree with your words. And there is a difference between standing up for Christian principles in love, as Scripture mandates, and mocking those who don't agree with you.

Sometimes "tough love" is the best medicine. I don't coddle people who behave badly - I tell them like it is. If they can't handle the truth, that is THEIR PROBLEM.

Clearly, one can know Arnold from his fruit. It's rotten, just as Clinton (who waived bibles around) had rotten fruit. Anyone who supports killing babies has huge moral problems. Period. And any Christian who votes for a baby killer is making a moral compromise (want me to say it again in caps?). I judge actions not people. I will judge your actions if you vote for people who have policies and beliefs contrary to biblical teachings. There is NO DEFENSE for it. I've noticed that a lot of those who think he isn't "republican enough" aren't even Republican.

I absolutely agree that the support the murder of babies is a SERIOUS issue, and primary in my view of any candidate.

However, I might make an exception IF the position that the candidate would hold would make decisions about abortion.

For instance, the fact that Christy Todd Whitman was pro-choice didn't bother me much because in the EPA, she would never make any decisions about abortion. (I had problems with her for other reasons).

I want my Senators, my Congressmen, and my President to be pro-life.......and my Governor.

But will Arnold, as Governor, be making any decisions about abortion? (Other than the partial birth abortion ban position which he supports)?

Or is it possible that voting for McClintock/Bustamante might indirectly put MORE innocent babies' lives at risk? Will voting for a losing McClintock actually result in the deaths of more babies?

These are legitimate questions that solid, strongly pro-life conservatives ask..... Being pro-life is required of a Christian, to be sure. But is voting for one candidate over the other, with the same goal in mind required? I'm not so sure.....

btw, I was referring to your assumptions about me, and those like me, based on limited information......not Arnold.

I told you I am not supporting Arnold out of "emotional pulp", but you refuse to believe it and insist that Arnold doesn't have any conservative stances. As you seem to consider yourself a solid conservative, which of the following don't you agree with, please?

Do you believe in anti-gay marriage?

Do you believe in stopping the DL's for illegals?
Do you believe in English-Only?
Do you agree with being anti-union?
Do you agree with pro-religion, going to church weekly?

Whether or not a Governor supports or does not support abortions is a moot point. It is a federal issue.

Please convince the Tombots of that. They think otherwise.
