9/14/2003 | ALOHA RONNIE Guyer

Posted on 09/14/2003 10:05:38 PM PDT by ALOHA RONNIE

NEVER FORGET

.."TOM McSELFISH =

...Gov. BustaMENCHA"

........was THE Sign to behold at this weekend's California Republican Convention held in Playa Del Rey next to the Los Angeles International Airport. So I did.

...No Convention Endorsement came for California Governor, but a posted Convention Straw Poll showed ARNOLD with nearly ..80%.. of the votes verses a little over ..18%.. for TOM McCLINTOCK.

...No one backed down this weekend, though it was hoped one Candidate for California Governor would, with Recall Election Financier Congressman ISSA watching it all unfold right before his very eyes.

Signed:.."ALOHA RONNIE" Guyer / Republican Convention Witness

NEVER FORGET

He supports abortion on demand. He is against sucking a baby's brains out late term. He is pro abortion.

"Shrivernegger"!!

LOL!

So McClintock is "selfish," eh?
Because he has principles and can articulate them?

Well I am a Californian, and I find the name calling of Arnold, a Republican with Republican values, WAY beyond the Pale. The fact that he doesn't hold your values, does not mean that he is well within the Republican spectrum. More liberal than some and more conservative than others.

Apparently the fact that Cruz Bustamonte wants to turn over California to Mexico does not register with you. Patriotism is a value also, and should trump all other values in this election.

my Savior has forbidden me from voting for a candidate who supports the continued legality (albeit "controlled") of baby-killing when a pro-life candidate is running.

The Pro-Choice crowd knows that. That is why Davis and friends spend time, effort and money to promote candidates like Simon and McClintock.

How does it feel to be manipulated by the enemy?

The enemy I am by far most concerned with is the one who would have me disobey my Savior. All other enemies pale in comparison---they have no power to torture my soul for eternity.

Perhaps the time has arrived that FREE REPUBLIC ought to just divide into two movements over this whole rotten thing in California. We can have one site for the old guard Conservatives who stay in the Conservative camp rather than sell out and get co-opted like saps to the slaughter by the ruling RINO establishment, and call it: FREE REPUBLIC.

And for those have have left the Conservative camp (to 'expand their horizons, or stay in the big tent' with the gays and abortion supporters or whatever), we can all it "CINOS: CONSERVATIVES IN NAME ONLY".

Heck, they can even adopt the FR motto, and change everything from "independent" and "conservative" to "Republican".

Hey ex, you're a funny dude. You're one of the *%'ers. McClintock couldn't win a sack race in California. You ask me and I'll say I think McChickenlips is a reprobate because of his selfish meglomania. How does impotence feel?

FOR THE GIPPER - VOTE SCHWARZENEGGER

Just like Perot and all other spoliers who stay in the race for their "principles" and hand the election to the opposition.

Perot didn't spoil anything. GHWB didn't EARN those votes because of his tax raise and gun grab.

McClintock is on Dennis Prager right now.

He just said that he will NOT ban abortion.

"Us" - Republicans who desire to win, who love liberty and freedom, who live with integrity and without fear.

Only the first part of your above description is apparent in Schwartz's supporters. They've offered no reason to believe any of the rest of it.

Once again people. The Governor of California does not have a say regarding "banning" abortion. It is a federal issue. Get over the abortion issue. It does not belong in a Governor's race.

It's nice to see a sensible comment on a voters choice of candidate. Thanks!

As a small business owner I can speak for the many other business owners in California that I have spoken with. The single biggest issue that is hurting business in California is WORKERS COMP COSTS. McClintock is the only one who knows and seems willing to try and fix the mess. Workers comp in California can not be "patched". It has to be completly revamped. If workers comp is not fixed all other exercises in helping business are null and void. It is the biggest issue for business, including mine. I am in a high risk business and the rate is 65% of payroll. Three years ago it was 19%.I have an accident free record.Don't fix workers comp and the jobs will continue to disappear.McClintock!.

By the way...he was a union man when he was elected Governor of California. He did not come across as conservative as he really was during the campaign.

Thats funny. I guess you've never heard of "The Speech".

The GOP has moved so far to the Left since Gipper left office I doubt that today he'd recognize it.

I know it very well. Sometimes God allows baby-killers to take office---I trust He has His reasons.

Oh my god, he's a baby murderer, too? My gosh, what a moral dilemma for the x-tremes. Enabler of murderers and a reprobate, too, oh my goodness gracious.

I want to know what the McClintonoids think about this! Is Tom now a RINO?

That's a damned shame.

Will he protect more or fewer babies than Arnold?

Your vision is too narrow, from the small biz perspective. Broaden your view, try to see the whole picture.
