No, I didn't, but I'm not surprised. People can read into that what they like, but you and I can add and subtract, right? :)

Very little of it HERE, though, I guess you've noticed?
To: Krodg
Nahhh, I'm not good at kissing rings either. I've never been good at being a sheeple, which is why I didn't vote for Clinton. I'll bet we can guess some folks who DID, though, what do you think?

REMEMBER: Stupidity is FREE, that is why so many people have so much of it!
To: UCANSEE2
Well said UCAN. You summed up the bogus case against DW very nicely.
To: MizSterious
I hadn't noticed you weren't here, because I haven't been here, either. I have enjoyed your biting wit in other venues of late. I just signed on for tonight's festivities. Then I'll invite myself back out again.

You lay out the implausibility of this case very succinctly.
I think Dusek has a very dirty mind. And he has infected the entire jury with his nasty viewpoint.
I sure hope Feldman has a good plan for the appeal. Don't forget, a cop gave DW Feldman's number. :-)

We've all been thinking that it was a good thing that cop gave DW Feldman's card, but was it ? Feldman lost the case. The cops and the DA won.

I think Feldman was savvy enough from the start to suspect that the odds for conviction were very high -- and that his strategy has been to build a foundation for reversal on appeal. Perhaps it explains why he did NOT purseue some things like getting a psychologist on the stand to context and contest the porn-rape linkage. If he had and the Jury still convicted, the appelate court might then lessen the prejudicial weight of the porn.

#1572....When the penalty phase is over....whatever the decision.....will DW be kept where he is, or moved somewhere else?
Right now, he's in isolation.
To: Lucky
#1574...I started down that path today....in my mind.
Decided I can't go there, must have some hope that Feldman was a good move.
To: Guenevere
Guen, my thinking is that he will probably get death. That will put in San Quentin, on death row, alone, I think.
If he gets life, they would probably still keep him alone, for his protection.
I still don't think he had a thing to do with Danielle's death.
To: pinz-n-needlez
Yes, I think you are right...
This snowball is going downhill so fast, nothing can stop it at this point.
We will have to wait for appeal.
But much better for him to be isolated....
San Quentin.....how gruesome.

I think Feldman knew from the beginning that le had enough to convict DW when he saw the transcript from the interview. I think the reference to the niece is what was 'as explosive as a confession.'
I think the only possibility Feldman saw for an aquital was the bug guy.
So I think he has planned on saving DW on appeal. Starting with Ott and what's-his-name's visit in jail, on Miranda violations with Redden, on false affidavits, on perjury by witnesses, on Mudd's not sequestering the jury, on objections that were clearly biased toward prosecution, on Mudd's 'testimony' during closing, and on lots of other issues that I know nothing about.
DW is chagrined, imo, because he was naive enough to believe the bs coming out of Redden's mouth during that interrogation.
Feldman played his weak hand the best he could, the next hand is likely to be a bit stronger, on appeal.
I would gladly have DW at my house for dinner, or a weekend visit at any time. He did not hurt Danielle. 12 years later, he feels bad that his niece was upset with him. I think he is a kind and honorable man. It is not necessary to be a saint to not have murdered someone.
