Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) issued a Columbus Day statement alerting Americans that “we are all on stolen land” and accusing Republicans of attempting to “whitewash American history.”
Instead of actually commemorating the federally-recognized Columbus Day — or saying nothing at all — the far-left “Squad” member took to social media to instead celebrate “Indigenous Peoples Day,” which is not a federal holiday.
“Happy Indigenous People’s Day! We are all on stolen land,” Pressley wrote. “And while Republicans try to whitewash American history, we acknowledge our country’s role in inflicting trauma on our Indigenous neighbors.”
“We’ll keep celebrating their contributions, centering Native voices in our policymaking, & building a more just, equitable future,” she added. […]
President Donald Trump announced in April that he would restore Columbus Day to its glory, as it received attacks from those who attempted to “cancel” it in favor of a day recognizing Native Americans. …

Mostly each other.
Decedents are people who have died. Descendants are fruit of the womb.
Dear Ayanna Pressley..
...nobody gives a shit what you think.
You and the old squad are done, irrelevant, histoir’e. Even Sandy Cortez is off the team...for greener pastures.
Can this fool not go back to her roots? To the tribes who sold her ancestors to the alleged land thieves?
By the time Columbus, and later Hernan Cortez and Francisco Pizarro arrived in North and South America, the “land” had been stolen time and time again.
One of the South American Inca customs was to drink chicha de jora (beer) from the skulls of the defeated enemies.
Like the North American Indian tribes, the Aztecs and Incas conquered (stole) all that they could see.
The Inca conquered the Chincha, the Lupaca, the Chimú, the Colla, and many others. There were plenty of skulls to fill with chicha de jora.
And thundersticks too!
Everybody is. What a dumbass?
I notice the “stolen land” people never feel badly enough about it to give their portion of it back and get out. Another proof that someone such as this one isn’t sincere is that she would have to oppose any further immigration, and I am guessing she doesn’t. Why add insult to injury?
I have always wondered something: since most of the Americas can be considered “stolen land” do other countries flagellate themselves over it? I know Canada does, but are there any others?

So when will she turn Massachusetts back to the Pequods or whoever? Sniveling hypocrites.
Shut up Bich!
Democrats who think they stole their land should return it all to us.
Here is an inconvenient truth: Every place on Earth was inhabited by somebody else before the people currently there inhabited it.
Leftist Australians over the Aborigines. The lead singer of this group (Midnight Oil - "Beds Are Burning") became a politician there to grind that agenda.
Ayanna Pressley is ignorant of human history. Mankind has a history of stealing land, women, and men. The women were used for sex slaves, the men were slaves to manage the crops on the land they stole. There were children, but it’s my guess what was done with them.
She should give her property to an American Indian and migrate to her own indigenous land.
Cool so does that mean she will give up her mansion since its on stolen land and give it to a nice Indian family or nah
What about Turkey?
That would imply all the various areas of the world should totally segregate based upon a certain date of someone discovering the land and settling it or recognizing the Vikings or Aryans or Croatians or Sumerians or Persians or Tibetans or Hindus or Hebrews from the Bible in the Middle East.
Everybody else gets evicted or if unlucky, killed.
In the Americas, the Caral–Supe civilization in Peru and the Olmec civilization in Mexico are considered the earliest.
