Before April 30 IMHO. When I ran the numbers a few days ago 44% of all Coronavirus deaths in the US were in the NYC area. Add in a few other hotspots, say 10, and you’re probably up to 75-80%. Maintain quarantines in NYC and those 10 other hotspots and let the rest of us need to get back to work.

These restrictions are not intended to be let up. The desired result is the destruction of small, independent businesses in the US.

I love the May 4th idea but unfortunately my school district in CA (and maybe the whole state by now?) has closed schools through the end of the school year (early mid-June).
Parents in these situations will need to find much earlier “summer” child care arrangements in order to “go back to work” (if can’t work from home).
For these reasons it would be nice when school re-opening matches job-reopening. Can be handled district by district or county by county or state by state?

He may have some restrictions on international travel into the USA and some intra-national from "hot spots" within the USA.

The best thing he did here was let governors and mayors run their own constituents into the toilet. He’s been right on this all along. Other than international travel and immigration restrictions, the Federal government has no role to play in implementing restrictions on people and businesses.

Should be done in a limited fashion earlier since Dr Brix has just told him and the nation they are cooking the books and over stating deaths and cases, easy enough to verify by looking at the lower number of other deaths so far this year, like FLU and other repositories , heart and etc! Seen lower Flu number s already posted else where!
