Walmart Worker Allegedly Prostituted Himself In Store Bathroom During Breaks

A Walmart employee in upstate New York allegedly made very productive use of his time during overnight shifts in the store. Unfortunately, he did so by advertising his services online as a prostitute, then meeting clients in a store bathroom during his breaks. Great efficient use of time, but also kind of illegal.

According to state police, the store bosses became suspicious and alerted authorities about the 22-year-old’s possible side hustle. Police had an undercover officer set up an appointment and offer to exchange sex for money. The man was arrested and charged with prostitution, and has been suspended while Walmart investigates. “We’re appalled that something like this could be happening in one of our stores,” a Walmart spokeswoman told the Glens Falls Post-Star.

It’s also surprising to hear that despite getting rid of the “adult services” section, Craigslist still serves as a venue for prostitutes to hawk their services.

I'm not surprised to hear that it happened at Wal-Mart. I am surprised that Amazon hasn't gone after a cut of the action.

Especially since the men’s room is always next door to the ladies’ rest room. That’s why I always had my kids (when they were younger) go with me to the ladies room, never by themselves. And when they got old enough to go by themselves I still managed to be very close to the restroom just in case. Just gross that this employee was doing sex for business in the public restroom (just like it’s gross in any other public place: airports, bus stations, rest stops, etc.).

I worked with a lady on a court case one time and found out the Walmart men's department is where male gays hang out to meet each other.

Sometime after that, I was looking for men's PJs ‘cause my husband was in the hospital and needed more PJs. I noticed a man walking around that department with no cart, just walking slowly in that department. Later, just to check, I went that direction far enough so I could see he was still there in men's dept., no cart, no purchase.

Perhaps that is not true in other parts of the country, but I did believe it here.
