That being said, since that is the criteria of what it will take to make you stop your insulting activities on Apple threads, then POOF! it's gone. I'm not married to it. It's merely a good pun. I'm holding you to your statement to BunnySlippers. You will now be expected to stop, cold turkey!

Thanks, Swordmaker. I knew you would step up to the plate.

I'm wondering if driftdiver can keep his word. It will be a challenge but will go a long way to bringing a better existance on FR.

Learned that the hard way. Was putting a friends child into a rear car seat and put the thing on the roof. You know the rest.

Oooh, ouch!

I too bounced my first generation off the pavement. It survived without a scratch. But from that day forward it had a good case on it.

As opposed to the 5% Jobs has.

Yeah, but you're not as cool as they are.
Have you ever noticed that Windows users just use their computers, but Mac users have to go around strutting like peacocks?

Perhaps... I.. have... forgotten...

Yeah....

Well, no “Perhaps” about it. YOU ARE A TROLL.

Oh, and that too, would make Satan Proud of you. He likes Trolls. And generally anyone else who gets joy out of F***** with other people for kicks.

Go diddle with your Droid, teenie tiny.

Now wait a minute. He will need protection first.

So, wait... does this mean if the White Phone isn’t out by September 30th, I won’t get a free case?

Bill isn’t my mentor, however since his OS is on 92% of the desktops worldwide I’d say he knows a thing or two.

I've never had a thing against Bill Gates as a businessman. You forget, I am in the heart of capitalism ... the stockmarket. Business drives this country ... Microsoft and Apple are at the pinnacle. Yes, both of them. Apple is a HUGE market entity. You might want to admit Apple is a powerhouse TOO.

Someone who makes the best selling car never makes the best car. I mean, a Ford Fiesta versus a Ferrari!

Gates has the market sewn up ... but Steve Jobs truly INNOVATES. They are like two sides of the same coin.

I was already up to speed when I heard it richocheting around the rack mounts. I knew what it was immediately and got to see it fly off in the rear view mirror. It still worked but the case and glass were pretty scratched up. We did have a chuckle when I went to the Apple store and asked them to look the other way.

It seems I still hadn't learned after losing buchoo prescription sunglasses when my daughter was young. C'est la vie.

The more I look at that white phone, the more I like it! :)

Looks like Apple has tied up the market on touch screens. iPad love ~

Please name an innovation from Steve Jobs.

Then you back Jobs when he lies and says the other phones have the same problem.

And it has been proved from independent tests that every one of the phones listed, does indeed have attenuation issues when held in certain ways, and their own operation manuals warn about how not to hold them. YOU choose to ignore that proof. There is no lie.

Its a poor design, a senior Apple engineer told Jobs about it and the product was released anyway.

ONE blogger made that claim, and it was quoted by Bloomberg. . . using an "unnamed" source. No one has corroborated that it was true and the senior design team at Apple along with Jobs publicly deny it happened.

• Q: Bloomberg article said you were told of antenna concerns? Jobs: "It's a total crock… Total bullshit."

That's an official statement by the CEO of Apple in a press conference that can be relied on by stockholders and investors. If the evidence comes out that he was lying, both he and Apple can be sued by the Stockholders. Jobs is NOT stupid. I suggest you drop your false claims based on made up, falsified evidence. Bloomberg has corrected the record by reporting Jobs statement and noting that the earlier report was in error. You've been told this before and you again go for the falsehood rather than the truth.

As for requesting moderation, the mods used to enforce civility on FR and your behavior would not have been tolerated. That day has passed for some reason.

That is a very important point, especially when investors are seeking shelter from a global depression.

One gripe I have is it does seem to take a lot longer to get a full charge than it did with my old 3g

I think that's because it also takes longer to discharge and the charger is the same capacity.

I have several friends with the new iPhone. Out of a dozen or so, only one reports dropped calls, but she lives in the boonies and has really spotty AT&T signals where she lives. After the software update, she says she has fewer dropped calls and it seldom reports "No Service" which it did frequently before the update. Apparently the previous algorithm would start the phone searching for a signal when it thought there was insufficient signal, even though there often still was sufficient signal to operate, causing more dropped calls than occur now with the correct algorithm.

So you’re going to post to me knowing I said I wasn’t going to post on your thread? Why would you do that?

So you expect to be able to beat up on me knowing I can’t respond? Have you no decency?

I wasn’t the one that brought up donations, BTW. I was only seeking to even the playing field. Business has been crappy on my end too.
