WASHINGTON -- Hundreds of gay and lesbian parents hoping to take their families to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll plan to start lining up Friday evening to make sure they get tickets for the Monday event.
Thousands of tickets — an estimated 16,000 last year — are given away on a first-come-first-come basis beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
National Park Service officials said Wednesday that children of all ages may attend as long as there is at least one child 7 years old or younger, and no more than two adults per group.
First lady Laura Bush's office issued a statement saying all families are welcome to attend.

I'm disappointed (not surprised) on the border issue, but Laura's stand is hardly recent.
So homosexuals are going to a CHILDREN's even to promote how adults have RECREATIONAL SEX.
Homosexuality is only about sex.
Homosexual protesters at this childrens event is about sex.
They are truly disgusting.
The MSM will bend over frontwards in order to promote the homosexuals and ignore the normal people.
I do not think this would be a problem if the gay couples would quietly bring in their children just like any other parent doing the same. This event is about the kids not the parents/caregivers/my two moms or my two dads.
These people decided to make a media event out of it and use their children as pawns to promote their own agenda. It is now beyond being family or caring about their kids it is all about self promotion.
It's laughably hypocritical that the all-natural, green, holistic, earth mother crowd so actively supports a lifestyle as un-natural and life-blocking as homosexuality.
And to make their pitch at an activity focusing on eggs is, IMO, plainly dumb.
But then, they're liberals. What else would I expect?

You can bet the TV cams will be on the newest form of family style. In fact, I bet in 3 more years, it will turn into a lesbo/gay family event. It's already started.

I am suprised that the ACLU does not sue the White House for having the egg roll. It could be seen in the ACLU's eyes as a church state issue (as even christmas trees are)
Are they using real eggs? If so, I'm sure the PETA people will be all up in arms as well.
