Fox News alert a few minutes ago says the Dover School Board lost their bid to have Intelligent Design introduced into high school biology classes. The federal judge ruled that their case was based on the premise that Darwin's Theory of Evolution was incompatible with religion, and that this premise is false.
The mythology surrounding Atlantis. It is most likely that it is really an Isle in the Mediterranean Sea that was destroyed by volcanoes and sunk into the sea. Its also more than likely that it wasn't called Atlantis at the time, or that the name is from a native tongue. It is possible that it was on the Isle of Crete, although more possibilities go forth between the isles of Santorini to the submerged Isle of Spartel near the strait of Gibraltar. There are even possible locations in the Black Sea such as near Bosporus, Sinop, and Ancomah.
Thats a really popular piece of mythology. Similar to Troy.

The more recent data are Behe's testimony in this case, where he acknowledged that evolution occurs, and ID is faith.
I've seen those calculations attempted before, and they make all kinds of wrong assumptions. They are based on pure randomness, which evolution is *not*.
There have been calculations on the possibility of randomly assembling an initial life form so that evolution can start. Again, the wrong assumption is that we know the minimum complexity for life to begin, and also the assumption is for DNA/RNA based life, which is not required.

I think this is the way to handle issues in schools...federal judges intervening and deciding curriculum is wrong.
So the Human DNA chain is more "fit" as you claim. Bullcrap, fit is a term you're using as a synonym to complex. You're right, things that are fit survive, things that aren't don't. But things DO get more complex (DNA chains, multicellular organisms, brain patterns, intelligence quotient etc). The concept of fitness is the biggest crock of s^*t I've ever heard.

The voters may not have voted the way they did if it weren't for the trial.
Because science won't even consider there might be a Creator, not withstanding the incredible evidence we see every day, we can move on to showing how absolutely deceptive evolution really is, and stop all this smoke screen with intellegent design as a science.

If you are going to justify your beliefs based on biblical passages, at least you should get said passages right.

I've already mentioned that the mutation is random, and since that's what drives the actor on whom selection is taking place, then that opens up selection to be seen as random.
Also, and not to get into the theology of it, but that which survives and that which dies sometimes has nothing to do with anything other than pure chance.

Thanks for filling me in on what science is. Could you help me out on the scope of science. maybe just a little thought on the subject to enlighten those here who don't understand how science is used.
To think that creationists are intent on turning the science classroom into a pulpit is absurd. The theory of evolution is not so intrusive, either. Evolutionists don't sermonize their audience and degrade them with all their theory implies. "See, you're nothing but a monkey's uncle."
