I think Dave is pissed because Beth and Jug will not allocate money from the Natalee fund to cover expenses and loss of income that he has incurred.

I don't agree with his stance on Aruba. However, reading between the lines I can see his point about using money from the Natalee Holloway Fund to pay charlatans like T J Ward and others.

I don't know nor do I want to know the specifics about Dave and Beth's divorce. That said I have to wonder if the non-allocation of funds is purposeful or simply a misunderstanding. From personal experience I know that sometimes a man expects a woman to give for what a woman is simply awaiting a request.

Malichi, yes I see your points. It is just sad that they don't all get on the same page. Dave is going to kill the media attention and without it Natalee is just one of thousands of missing people.

The big story is the cover up. Based on what Beth has said I believe Dave is kidding himself thinking that this case is being investigated by Aruba. Maybe Beth did waste some money on false hopes, but I would also. I would be more apt to trust someone coming with me from the USA than the locals.

What did Dave do that makes him unbelievable? He believed the landfill guy, so he dug in the garbage for his daughter. Even his new wife's father helped in searching the landfill. Beth says she believed the landfill guy. I never saw her digging in the landfill. I know I would have been digging in the landfill, if I believed the guy, and even if I had doubts on the crack addict's story, I know I would have been there.

I would believe Dave over Beth any day. He wants the truth about what happened to his daughter, no matter where that truth lays.

Posner (owner of Excelsior) is or was missing. There are some posters reporting that he has returned to Aruba. Friday the world poker tournament starts in Aruba and we can see if he is mentioned as being there. The other person missing from the casino is the young dealer (23?) Lorenzo Wever who supposedly was questioned about NH in Netherlands where he suddenly split to the day after Natalee vanished. I don't know if Posner is still on parole or not. He served a sentence in the '80's for a federal conspiracy rap and was released in mid-'90's on parole, but may have finished his sentence. Still it is very odd that as a convicted felon (on or finished with probation) he had no problem getting a license to purchase and operate a casino!

Beth says she has been unable to speak with him and had a "threatening" phone call from him when she made attempts to see him to ask questions about what he knew about Natalee's disappearance. There are reports that he donated lodging for the TES at Bricknell Bay to the tune of $ 100,000 while they were on Aruba looking for Natalee's body.

What did Dave do that makes him unbelievable?

I was referring to Dave's dismissal of Beth's view that there has been an ALE cover-up. However, since we are talking about Dave it seems to me that his interview by the Aruban newspaper Bon Dia served the Aruban PR machine, and alienated those in the states trying to help. Look at the Bon Dia interview (post 2035). I am having a hard time understanding why Dave appears to be allowing himself to be used. Dave can say what he wants about not having access to the Natalee fund. If it were not for Beth and her butt kicking initial charge into Aruba there would not be a significant Natalee fund. In fact, only a handful of people would have ever heard of Natalee and most of those would believe that black security guards kidnapped Natalee. Beth is the one that got the media spotlight turned on the four that harmed Natalee, and the one that got the black security guards released. Yes. I see her as the leader of the Holloway Clan and the more creditable of the parents when it comes to what happened and what ALE has done. I spent some time trying to figure out why Dave would say what he said in this interview. I can only come up with three possibilities that make sense to me. One possibility is he is someone that likes to believe the best about people (even when dealing with evil people). I think back to when he tried to offer PVDS an out… “I am a forgiving man…if it was an accident…”. The second possibility is that early indications indicated that the boycott call was going to fail, and Beth and Dave decided that he should split from the call / the Beth Camp so that he can stay in Aruba and cling to the faint hope the ALE will do their job. The third possibility is less clear so I will not state it.

That must have been a nasty divorce betw. Dave and Beth. There always seems to be an undercurrent of dislike when Dave speaks about the Twittys and their efforts.

He has another daughter. Beth doesn't.

I found Dave Holloway's interviews about as "informative" as Wards!! Sorry to say that, but it's true. I agree with NSNR, he really is playing the fool here.
