The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse - the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

yes i was pleasantly surprised about them making the person remove the antiBush avatar, and i can respect that they allow diversity of viewpoint etc. They made reference to 3,000 people reading the Board, so maybe with so many few posters/members they have a tighter rein over their posters and a shorter fuse. The mods here would have to be banning people CONSTANTLY if they used the same standards!

i have to say, crap like that fascinates me. i was here in the olden days of FR when we had QUIDAM who spoke in riddles about the impeachment stuff. i ate it up with a spoon : ) don't necessarily believe it, but it is fun.

Well I guess what surprised me about getting banned was I didn't even use a curse word. If I had know I was going to get banned I would have just gone ahead and cut loose. There are people cursing all over the place over there. But, respond to a thread about someone's "assumptions regarding teenagers' behavior" in plain language and your outta there.

My SM observation: The average intellectual level over there is pretty low. A few of their posters are insightful and use proper grammar. The rest are idiots.

The thread I responded to had to do with the "supposed" behavior of the MB students on a return flight from Aruba on June 3. The person made reference to how loud and carefree they were supposedly acting. This went on and on and on. Geeezzz! They're teenagers...that's what they do.

That isn't how we behaved on our flights or train trip and we had students ranging in age from 15-18.

oh i know, someone said that you could not convict someone in the US with circumstantial evidence! they are beyond dim there. the only reason to read is hoping for some breaking news from aruba, not for the commentary between the posters. i only registered to be able to read there.

have too much to drink, which
would have the same affect on
a young girl. [I would imagine.
B/c she isn't an experienced
drinker.]

It doesn't always take an added

That may be, but the poster was responding to posts that suggested that Jug as well as the students on the trip needed to be questioned. That's how it started. If teenage kids are "loud and carefree" then that's in the opinion of the "observer". I would not find it strange at all if teenagers were "loud" compared to me. I'm older and less "carefree". Besides, the thing that I never understood about the posters' claim is that this flight was on June 3. I thought the return flight was on May 31st. Either way, it just kept going on and on and ON.

But, there was an added drug. You can't make it go away. It factors in.

Natalee was reported to be a very responsible young lady. Even in her drinking. The meds would just prove her moderation. This IS important somehow.

You are correct, of course. But Jurine and the whole island is predatory (regarding young women from the U.S.). Predators enjoy having power over the victim. And they enjoy being the source of that power (giving them the drug).

I don't think it is so much about sex and hedonism as it is power over the touristes--power over America, on whom 40,000 jobs depend. You can see it in Jurines eyes.

I am surprised that his demeanor is still one of defiance instead of contrition. I suspect he is a sociopath, at least when it comes to foreigners.

Did she take it freely?

We'll never know.

I hate to think it, let alone say it, but... I'm sure she's not alive by now.

Even if her body's found, it won't reveal anything. It's too badly decomposed to find drugs. Traces would be gone by now.

A DNA test to see if it's Natalee is about the best forensics could do. [Laci Peterson.]
